  1. Aww...as other stated, you might make it, but don't get your heart set on it! Too bad though because then we'd share an anniversary!!

We were married 10/10/2009 (one day before Nik and Heather! hehe).

And as for the comment about a guy remembering, Del still asked me our wedding date the other day!! :P

Originally I wanted 11/11/11 mainly because I'm obsessed with seeing 11:11 on the clock. But because of a family illness decided to move up the date. Plus after meeting, it's hard to be apart.

I could still do 11/11 or 12/12 but the year would be a bit off. I was mainly rooting for October so I could avoid a winter wedding. A winter wedding would be lovely if it snowed but chances are it would be just yuck.

  2. I was lamenting that Nik and I weren't on track just one year later.

I mean, not only is 10/10/10 great (even a guy can remember that date!!) but 101010 in binary is 42, and it's just at the end of the 42nd week of the year - and for a crazy Douglas Adams girl like me, it would just be so great.

But, in the end, just getting married was more important. Besides, I bet most of the good places are already booked by now...

    LOL!

Strangely not that many places were booked. The vendors I chose were still available. I keep getting "signs" that 10/10 is my date but the practical side of me says to just let it go. I've got a few weeks to make a decision.

  3. I'm trying to figure out question 20 of the I-129F, "Your fiancé(e) will apply for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate at:"

Originally I put Toronto based on consulate districts but I saw something that said only Montreal and Vancouver process K1s. I can't seem to find anything official. Can someone let me know which is correct or point me to some information?

    Thanks in advance :)
