      Hi, can you tell me how long did it take to get the passport back. we are waiting for the wife's - she had her interview on Monday. Congrats again.

      my was actually in AP that's y it took 7 months but after AP was clear from DOS, he got the passport within 2 days. good luck

      hi: just wanted to know how long the process took from your preliminary interview to your I-130 approval and what happened after the NOA-2 was approved,did you have to file any waivers? thanks

      NVC process took 2 months and interview was after 2 months later. i didn't file for waiver.

      they only asked him 3 questions. my occupation/husband's occupation and asked for wedding/honey moon pix. that's all.

    he actually is put into AP, background checking and all, i wonder how long it's gonna take

    it's not NVC, it's the embassy that did it. they do it for almost every male coming to US. they put them into AP processing and make u wait..... it took me not more than 2 months in NVC. i dind't have any problems in NVC

    after the NVC completes ur case. maximum is after 2 months after completion. lets say if ur case completed in august 30, ur interview would be assigned anywhere b4 October 30. earliest would b last week of September

    they only asked my husband 3 questions, what does ur wife do? what do u do? look at wedding and honeymoon pix, and said everything looks fine we just need to put u in AP coz of some background checking. now this AP process is killing coz u dont knowow long the waiting period would b. it can take upto a year.

    no he's still in AP process, i cann the DOS # everyday but they still r telling me AP pending..it's been over a month....
