  1. i am in need of all the documents i have sent to the INS with my 2 yr card and present pending i-751 application, due to myself and my wife getting divorced and she throw ALL my documents and copies away.. how easy is it to get documenst back?

If they are copies, why do you need them back?

because my ex wife threw them away

At about the same time she threw you away? lol

thats a bit out of order i must say

  3. ok heres the deal...

i have now been divorced from my wife, have the decree in hand.

my i-751 is still pending and from what i gather INS doesnt know we are divorced as surely i would have found out by now that they know.

Wife decided to throw all my copies of the documents i sent along with 2 yr card application and I-751 application, so am sending off for copies of those documents to INS, so i can apply for my I-751 myself and with lawyer without her if i dont get approved first by the INS.

the marriage was legit as the amount of evidence is amazing as even through the divorce she still stated that she loved and still does love me, but then she was forced by her family to divorce me as they didnt like me..and i have emails, texts and instant messaging records to prove i tried to save the marriage and that we kept in contact through out the divorce proceddings.

  6. myself and my wife have been married for nearly 4 yrs...yest she wants to divorce due to my bipolar

i came over here from the UK and dropped everything to be with her. WE got married in april 04 and as with every marriage the first year or two is the hardest. Now what with me being over in the states, everything is new to me, the culture and everything else that goes with it. Its a stressful time trying to get used to a different way of life, waiting for the work permit to come through and yr sat on yr ####### unable to provide for things.

Yes i did and still do love my wife very much as thats the reason why i married her in the first place, and now i get to find out that i have bipolar. Now for people who have looked in to the symptoms of bipolar they will know that it can be a very disturbing illness and that if you dont know you have it then you are kinda in a situation where you are doing things when you have now real clue you are doing them....

So i get to find that i have had bipolar ever since my mum died when i was five yrs old, and no one picked it up at an early age, so you carry it through life not knowing that its that which is making yr life very hard to live with.

My wife is wanting to divorce me coz i have done some silly things and yes they stem back to the fact that i have bipolar and i wasnt in a good frame of mind.

Now we filed for my conditions to be lifted back in may and she has stated that she is not willing to help me get my resident card, not willing to give me the documention i need to file it myself, not willing to let me have my stuff back and saying that all the stuff in the house she will keep for herslf...

now if i file for myself to have the conditions lifted how would i go about getting the documention i need to file it. she has even blocked me from gaining entry to our joint bank account along with the car that is in both our names.

my extended visa runs out in may of next yr and she isnt divorcing yet...how will this effect my chances of getting my resident card

  7. My wife has just told me she is going to divorce me..i do not have the documents i need to re submit my application to get the conditions lifted on my resident card, as i submitted them when we sent them of in may for the conditions to be lifted.

i made copies before i sent em off, but she wont give me the copies and she will not help me get my 10 yr card. My notice states that i can stay and work in the US up until may of next year, but will i still be able to re submit my application before that time is up?

Now she is divorcing me coz i have bipolar and i am wondering if this will help me get my card if i submit doctors notes explaining this?

    Advise would be very grateful

  8. my wife (us citizen) is divorcing me due to me having a illness...she says she cannot cope with the illness, so therefore she is going to divorce me.. we filed jointly in may for the conditions to be lifted on my resident card, but have not yet recieved the new card or a interview....

what steps do i need to take in order to make sure that i still get my 10yr resident card?

the marriage was legit (i did not mary her to evade immigration laws), so the marriage is ending due to my illness..do i still have a chance with my residency?

she even stated to my brother that she is filing coz of my illness.
