Yeah, this wait is killing me. Our case has been completed since Aug 30th and NVC doesn't give me any answer

Thanks, yeah I tried numerous times but busy every time (even with Redial button :-)). Start getting negative thought and I think like what if NVC is closed or something (silly me :-)US can't close NVC this is probably big revenue generating entity for them). Yeah though just need to be patient and wait on the e-mail. Actually I was told by friend that NVC can tell you the date before receive the e-mail.

yeah, thx I didn't think that was good idea either but man it's my wife's b'day coming up this week than we passed our one year anniversary and she feels like like nothing is going our way...but I got keep her happy and it's not easy

yeah, me2...we have our hopes high and now my wife is so upset...she is so down and I can't really do nothing...NVC had whole month of SEP but not sure how much they are backed up...can't imagine why....I can really feel her pain but so confused not know what to do or should I say not able to do anything...

Yes, we were really hoping and it was logical to think that we would get Oct interview. But I am not sure how this works, like you said someone has CC after mine and still gets interview but we didn't. This whole process has been very painful for me and my wife, can't wait to be over with it. She is upset coz we didn't got October interview.

yeah, true dat...I guess i got too much time in my hand...but i didn't knew that it was all the packages together not just individual one..anyhow u right though it aint worth it...just need to hold it donw...;-)

If you Sign in Fails at NVC portal than it is complete.

NVC says as of Aug 30th my case is complete there. However, only disadvantage of getting case complete this late is I still do not get interview date for next month (Sep). We have to wait till October interview time period. You should hear soon and as long as it gets approved before or around 15th of this month you should received October interview date. Good luck!

Hi Bobby, it took almost two weeks (10 days specifically) for mine to get approved after they received my DS230 package...so you should hear from them soon. We should have interview date scheduled for October. tc..jai gopala

SIF=Sign-In Failed...(for NVC online payment portal). I am sure it also can mean Shipping Information Form too but not sure where you are applying.

What embassy does your spouse go to?

I gave her and my wife's email address and she updated in the case. Will I receive the email to pay the fee or that gets mailed?
