  2. it's been a while since i have been on Visa Journey but after reading this post the past few months I have decided to post my information in regards of my Citizenship application. I applied on February 8th and my case was in line since March 10th.... Today my status online changed and I got my interview letter. My interview has been scheduled for November 15th.

Good Luck to everybody ... Denver is finally moving.

  3. My husband and I met in the Dublin Galway train he was visiting the country with his 3 brothers and one friend of his ....

He wanted my phone number but I did not want to give to him I just was out of a relationship and the next day when I was on my way home I bumped into him by accident and he asked me to go for a drink and since then we been together for now nearly 7 years we traveled back and forward for nearly 2 years.

  4. Okay, I went for INFOPASS today since I just wanted to know how my case is doing...I was a transfer from TSC in mid December joint filing and then divorce-waiver on July this year.

Seems that they are using my original filing date to check out, because what the officer told me is that apparently they are in my case right now...but she found a comment (I got a LUD of 10/21/2008) on my file that states that my biometrics aren't found...she was obviusly frustrated when she said that, because she said, it's ridiculous since she CAN see that in the system pretty clearly, that she doesn't know how they could overlook that (it was very funny to see her face). She sent an email to them and I anyway, even she said is not necessary since is in the system, will send today a copy of my extension letter and my ASC appointment that I took on Aug 2.

This is very vexing...she did not found that they sent me a RFE or something like that and I haven't get anything...this is so stupid and probably I have nothing to worry but we all now that for stupid errors like this people get denied and it's not even that they did not received my biometrics, they did, is in the system just the retard who look at my case how could NOT look at it!?

The officer told me that calm down and that her email should work, that my address and name are correct with my current application (I changed my name back to my maiden name and I moved due to divorce). So at least if they sent me something it should go to my current address and that I should know something in the next couple of week. She asked me for my passport and check if I needed a stamp, she found that I have one and she said that is good until Jan 31 (I asked in Feb for a stamp) and in any case if I don't get any info, I should make another INFOPASS and see what's going on and get a new stamp.

In general it was very nice experience and at least she took the time to understand how annoying the entire thing is when it should not be that caotic.

The only thing I can think of is to send today as soon as possible a note about that I did took the biometrics...even I don't know if it's going to be too late for something...AGGGG this year it has been an agony...I don't know if it's to demostrate how strong I can be...but I am getting on my limits with sooo many things!

  5. i am waiting on my ead

OF COURSE MY ONE YEAR EXTENSION ACTION OF NOTICE EXPIRED BUT IN THE MEANWHILE WE GOT A STAMP ON MY PASSPORT, THE OFFICER DID NOT WANT OT HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT THE STAMP AND WAS PRETY RUDE WITH ME, WE TRIED TO EXPLAIN HIM THAT MY CASE BEEN APPROVED ON THE 24TH SEPTEMBER 2008 AND THAT IT WAS OVER A YEAR WE WERE WAITING FOR MY CASE TO BE APPROVED... ANYWAY HE PUT A BIG B ON THE CUSTOM CARD SO WE WENT TO A LITTLE OFFICE AND A GUY FINALLY STAMPED MY PASSPORT, IT WAS A REALLY BAD POE EXPERIENCED.

So for those who bee nreading my topics in the last months or so i finally got the conditions removed on my 10 years GC it was a very long process as who had a notice of action since february 2007, i got an e mail from uscis on the 24 th september and at this tims all the little finally and I were in Frane visiting my parents. We had a great times and just to let you know we thought that he will be a piece of cake coming back in the US and it was not at all.... we got back yesterday, i had all the papers in my position, printed approval e mailed, original letter, marriager certificate, and also my expired gc and my passport, we got to immigration the guy was rally rude with us and stamped my husband and daughter passport, but not mine we went to a special area in a little room where an officer make us sit for like 20 mns without looking at us and finaly took my passport and talked to one of his co worker and just did not care he asked me why we went to France and all that and finally stamped my passport. The first immigration officer was so rude and let m know that the letter for extension on the expired GC was only for one year and in themeanwhile my husband and i took the extra step to go to the USCIS to get an extension stamp but he did not care about the stamp at all and really treated us in a rude way, also because my passport was in a nice little passport cover he said removed that cover now on your passport.

We are glad to be back but this experience at washington POE was the whorse.

I' m glad that my papers are finally approved and can' t wait ot get my new GC.

  10. HEY VJ FAMILY! QUICK QUESTION...I AM STARTING TO RESEARCH INTO TICKET PRICES FOR MY FIANCE (INTERVIEW IS IN DECEMBER) AND I REALLY DO NOT KNOW IF YOU ARE FILLING FOR A K1 YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A ROUND TRIP TICKET. I HAVE HEARD YOU HAVE TO BUY A ROUNDTRIP, BECAUSE THE PERSON IS NOT GUARANTEED A CITIZEN. IS THIS INCORRECT OR TRUE AND WHY?

ALSO, I WANTED TO GET TIPS FROM YOU GUYS ON WHAT SITE TO VISIT THAT WOULD BE BEST TO BUY THE TICKET.

    Thanks Guys!!

    Queena

I came here on a k1 with a single ticket.

So you should be fine with a single ticket

My GC has long times expired and my case is in California.

Months ago i went to the uscis office where they stamped my passport for an extension of one year.

So yesterday I called the uscis to know what is goig on with my case and it's the same since february 2007 it' s pending.

At this point I' m very frustrated i get so little infos when i called regarding if it' s ok to travel or not ... But in the meanwhile it' s been really long since i have seen my family....

So did some of you experienced problems coming back in the US ?
