Soon your NOA1 will come

My fiancee called the embassy from within the Philippines. She said it was fairly quick to connect and the call lasted a little over 5 mins. I tried calling from Guam but was having difficulties. Good luck on scheduling your interview!

We sent a money order so we're not too sure about that. I did read that if you are able to see your cashed check, the USCIS receipt# should be on back. You can use that to check your status on the USCIS website. Our NOA1 hardcopy came about two weeks after we sent the packet so yours should be coming soon. Good luck!

I beleive the embassy will ask if you prefer a certain date but I think you can only schedule an interview within the current or following month.

Hi. You need to call the embassy to schedule your interview. The embassy will then email you an appointment confirmation. Just print the email and take it with you along with other needed documents to St. Lukes. No need to set an appointment at St. Lukes. Thanks. Good luck also.

Glad I was able to help. From what I've read you can do the medical as soon as you have your NOA2 and MNL#. No need to set an appointment at St. Lukes. It's been 2 weeks since the USEM received our case and we have yet to receive a letter. I asked my fiancee to call the USEM today without the letter and she was still able to schedule an appointment.

Hi. Congrats on finding out that the USEM received the electronic copy of your petition. We tracked our packet from the NVC to the USEM using DHL: track by reference. Just search for "how track from NVC to Embassy" on VJ and you'll find instructions on how to do so.
