Our Story
My brother, the world traveler haha, had met a Filipina women through a new friend that he works with on the North Slope. They talked for a few months then he made a trip to revisit the Philippines. Yes revisit. Our father was in the Army and stationed in Manila where we lived for 3 years and where my brother was born. The two hit it off and my brother began telling me about the beauty of the Filipino people and the integrity and character of the women there. I began to talk with a mutual friend of theirs and soon discovered exactly what my brother was talking about! Although there is an age difference I never notice it. We talked on-line via yahoo IM and web cam for 2-1/2 months. We decided that I should visit her to discover if what we felt would blossom when we met face to face. We spent 14 most wonderful and happy days together. I visited her family and friends and enjoyed everyone I met. I must say that as soon as I arrived in the Philippines I felt at peace, and I noticed how happy the majority of the people were. WOW what a difference then what i see at home here. It did not take me long to discover my twin heart! What a beautiful and loving soul my darling has! I have been struck with the level of maturity and the simple way of looking at life and others through the eyes of my lovely fiance'. Yes! I asked her if she would accept my proposal for marriage! She happily accepted. I am happy that we met and completely filled with a sense of wonder and joy about our future together. She is truly amazing and I am truly blessed. So the petition form is off and we wait! :)... God speed to our packet.
