  2. I am currently on an f-1 student visa and came to the US to study. While here I met my now fiance who is a US citizen. We are not sure when we are getting married yet, possibly in the next couple of years. I want to know exactly what I need to do for the future. Obviously I did not expect that I would meet someone and fall in love during coming here for studies. Firstly, are you even allowed to get married on a student visa while it is still in status or do you have to apply for something else before the actual marriage? Obviously I do not want to violate any rules. Secondly, what forms need to be filed, and will it automatically be rejected? I know when I first applied for my F-1 Visa that it said you should have the intention of returning home after your studies. Lastly, while you are waiting for the applications to be processed do you have to leave the country? Any help would be really appreciated.

    Thankyou!

you can get married while you are on F-1, I was on F-1 status when i got married and i mailed out my AOS application already. And you don't have to leave the country to process your applications... you will need to file form I-130, I-485, I-765, and you gonna need and affidavit of support, I hope this helps you can also go to the uscis website to get more information..

  3. Hello VJ Family! I am helping my cousin to file for his AOS. I would like to know if it is necessary to declare on his in G-325A Form that he worked in the US without any work permit for the past years.

He entered here thru a tourist visa and never gotten back home. But he was able to get an SSN since there was a family petition on him before but he over-aged it. And then, when he was working here, he was filed for taxes as well.

So, should we list his employment history here in the US for the past 5 years although he did not have a working permit? Does putting this or not in his G-325A form make a great impact?

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

    Thanks a lot!

yes you want to be honest when filling the form, if your cousin work illegally under the immigration act he would be forgiving.

  4. I was reading the PDF and for some odd reason just kept reading it until I found what state we are in and where I should send it.

This was 6 weeks ago, I keep calling USCIS with no other info to share, then finally today the lady says you sent it to the wrong address, it should not have gone to the Nebraska Address, but to the

    Chicago IL Locked Box.

So I continue to talk with her after arguing the fact that I did send it to the wrong place, and she said the Nebraska Service Center would forward it on.

So my Question today is this:

    - Is there a way to contact this office (NSC) and let them know of my mistake?

I called USCIS again and they where telling me to prepare another document package without the check, kinda like an amendment package.

    Thank You

    Any Help would be appreciated
