    Barryfaetheus,
It sounds like we spoke to the first level rep. Because the lady I spoke to basically gave me the same info that was on the USCIS site (i.e. i-751 was filed sep 19...etc). She had to get my wife's permission to talk to me (which thankfully was easy as we were together when I made the call.
She took down contact information, wife's name, my name, her date of birth and her file number (i.e. my wife's A number) and said that my wife would hear from the officer in-charge of her file within 15 days. If she hasn't heard within 15 days to call back. And she gave us a tracking number. So we sit and wait. And meanwhile we have another trip abroad next week! (short, to Canada but still). Will be very glad when she has her permanent card in hand.
    Best, KP
Wow! What the heck is going on? it shouldn't take 3 months to produce a card.

I guess so. Though why it should take 60 days to print and mail a card defies logic, and August CSC filers seemed to get theirs pretty quickly.
Will be so glad to be done with these people already.

I haven't received it yet, it's been 3 weeks since I was approved. They said it would come within 60 days, I guess we will just have to wait.

And Loto, look at the number of people who have read your "goodbye" message and have responded. That should account for something... In yours and your spouse's interest, stay!

Don't take opinions that are here personally. This is a forum to help each other out. If someone disagrees with you, fine...its an opinion based on a persons viewpoint and experience. Why do you want to remove yourself from looking at experiences that can potentially help your case? After all, that's why we are all here, right? so we don't pay tons of money to lawyers (of which there are many and many of them of both decent folks and very good at what they do) and learn.
Sit back, read, learn, respond. Someone is bound to disagree with you, take that as a given. But do not leave. That doesn't help anybody, least of all, you and your spouse.
    My 0.02 cents.
