I am filing for my spouse i130 form -f2a visa petition for my wife whos currently in India.

Along with 130 form If i am going to be submitting 2 g325a forms ( one for myself and other spouse). Pls help clear the below doubts.

q1) On my (petitoner) g325a form who will be the applicant as it is asking for applicants address and employment details. Is it me or my spouse.

q2) Also when my spouse is filing up the g325, who will be the applicant..will it be herself(beneficiary) or me (petitioner).

q3) Also what do we put in the box "this form is submitted in connection with an application for : Other OR Status as permanent resident

I have a confusion on one of the points for G325a on address. I am the petitioner for f2a and filling up my G325a.

I had got my green card from US embassy in London in May 2011 and my address was San Diego. I continued to work in london (UK) after applying re entry permit.

Below are the details. Please assist how do i fill up the form

May 2011- got the Greencard from UK and moved to san diego. Applied for re entry permit in the US and moved back to the UK

Jul 2010 till Apr 2014 worked in the UK

May 2014- present moved to the US

How should i mention my addresses in the g325 block. Should I just mention my US address from 2011 till date as San Diego or should i break down the details. Please advise.

Hi,

Yes this is not a big problem. My mom had the same issue.They corrected her biographic page and re issued the visa.

Hello All

One of the points that the i130 form for my spouse's F2a application specifically question 21 states )if filing for the spouse, give the last address where you stayed together. From -to dates.

So i wanted to know is there any time limit i need to follow before filing fr i130 form. ? ie how soon i can file for her green card.?

Also after the wedding we are going to stay at my Mumbai family home for about 20 days after which I will be flying to the US. Is there any issue if we have lived only 20 days together. I work in the US on green card and hence we will be only staying together after wedding that too about 3 weeks.

Please let me know.

Is there any public interest lititgation filed by F2a petitioner on re uniting with their familes ? They all talk about immigration reform. but sadly it has been a long wait for families.

Also if I live in NJ where should I be sending my I-130 form for my Spouse's GC application?

Can she adjust the status from visitor visa once her GC application becomes current ?

Hi All,

I am a US GC holder and I wanted to know the process of F2a.

We are getting married in India on 6th dec 2014 and I am planning to file for her gc petition once I return to US from my India trip.

I know the form that i need to fill up is I130 but what documents should i be sending along with that form.

Does Obamas new immigration reform going to help f2a applicants ? Does anyone know that.

They should also strongly consider calling their USPS post office. It may be that USCIS has the address wrong, but that doesn't change the fact that USPS reported delivered a piece of mail that was either delivered to the wrong address or not delivered at all. If USPS is scanning items of mail as "delivered" when they are not, in fact, being delivered, that is an issue that they alone will need to fix - USCIS isn't going to be able to change that.

Friends really sorry for my harsh tone in my messages earlier..very immature behavior ..apologies if i hurt anyone ..it was not intentional ..

I just received my re entry permit today. With gods grace it was approved in 3 weeks. I applied on 23nov and 2Dec biometrics done and it was approved on 19th Dec.Uscis told me delivery date was 22dec..to usps.

The usps mentioned permit delivered on 24th Dec..it was closed for Christmas. they told me they got the envelopes from uscis today ..then who's updated their systems with 24th Dec delivery date ..

Forget it..at the end of it i finally got my permit today..thanks to all of you for your kind support

Please always use reputed courier for your important documents..and get proper sleep.

Guys Today on the advise of US embassy in London I had called the USCIS toll free number 1-800...and spoke to customer rep. According to the customer rep the case shows as pending. When i told him i got an email from nebraska service center that its approved on 19th dec and doc sent on 24th dec..he said per the system its showing pending. God knows who to trust..getting different answers from same Department.

I have emailed the embassy and I think there is a fc** up with their communication systems within uscis..nobody knows what to do.

No wonder these jobs should get outsourced

I am a US Green card holder. Total time spent outside US to-date is 7-8 months. I have so far entered first time after GC before 6 month.,.I was told by CBP officer that i will need a rep if i intend to spend time outside US.

Applied for REP in Nov last week. Got notification email from uscis email that rep was approved and issued on 19th dec. The email also mentioned USPS tracking number according to which the rep was deliverd on 24th dec. However i never recieved it. I have raised a case with USPS and they are looking into it.

I will also call uscis office in London US embassy and seek their help..Guys please pray that i get my doc back..It costed $445 to apply..and if i am required to pay it again..it will be a rip off.

As far as i know i am allowed to enter on GC if my total stay outside the US is less than 11 months.

Pls pray guys..

Hi All

I had applied for re entry permit in nov last week. I was approved of the permit and had done my bio metrics done as a walkin at the asc center.

I was emailed by nebraska that my LIN** was issued on 19th dec 2011 and was delivered to my US address on 24th dec by USPS tracking number etc etc.

However i never recieved it till date. I have raised a query with USPS and they have given me a case number and will come back to me in 2-3 days time.

Did anyone ever come across such a case..I am currently out of US and am planning to get in touch with US embassy in London.

I cant afford to pay another $445 because of USCIS admin errors.

Although the USPS mentions that it delivered the doc..i never recieved it. I checked with all my neighbours as well..no body has got any such doc by mistake.

USCIS is full of loosers doing their job without thinking that there are people who are suffering because of their stupid mistakes ..

I had applied for my re entry permit as well. I got an email from the Nebraska center that the re entry permit was issued and delivered to me on 24th dec 2011 at my US address mentioned on the form. They also gave me USPS tracking number..The tracking number says USPS delivered it to my residential address in US..which i dont agree.

However i am outside US (in london)..and please advise what did you do..as I am into a similar situation..

We will be sending the i864 and ds230 together to nvc.

my priority date is 16th may 2003- location India

but my mom is unemployed so my cousin is filing i864a

I want to know what else do u send along with ds230 and i864..do you need to send birthcertificate and police certificates ?

Yeah , we already paid all the fees and also we send all the forms, we have send the package we all the forms . And i called the NVC and they said the case is complete. But there aré not visas available .

HI I am under f2b category my priority date 16th may 2003 - India.

I have just got the IV processing bill and paid it. I am in the process of sending Ds230. Do Nvc also need police certificate and my birth certificate ? Or can i submit police certificate and birth certificate during the visa interview.

My mother filed for me in f2b and my priority date is 16/May/2003. Recently i sent my choice of agent form to nvc and they generated the iv processing fee bill. My mother has submited $70 fees for AOS processing & $400 for IV processing.

Should my mother now submit the Ds230 forms together with I864 ?

Also i read that they need police certificates and photographs and biographi page of passport..along with ds230. ?

OR

Shud i submit just the ds230 and my mother submit the I864 to NVC...and only police certificates shud be submitted to Mumbai embassy when interview letter comes.

Please advise..i am based in India-mumbai. How long does it take to get the Police certificates ?
