  1. We have one casino in town - the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. My wife has family that works at that place and without reservation I will say that it is a super employer paying their staff well, treating their staff well and offering superb benefit packages compared to their peers in the hospitality industry - where can you get comprehensive, quality health insurance for $10.00 a week? They employ a couple thousand people at least at that facility and that has got to have a positive impact on the city and county. Nothing in terms of trouble or crime around that place so I don't see much in terms of a downside. Except gambling addictions but I am not aware that a casino in town actually makes that worse. It may, I am just not aware of any evidence that it does.

    Hello and regards,

    That is encouraging news.

  2. Hello and regards,

I have to remark that some of the best posts I ever read have been from this individual regarding informal conversations with VSC personel regarding how to actual process works..

I will trade you 750 posters whose posts consist of platitudes such as

If it works out for you congratulations, if it does not work out also congratulations to you, but for sure I say to you congratulations

    or

I just had my biometrics 37 minutes ago and USCIS has still NOT updated my case status. I am getting so discouraged but I thank God every day that in just a few months I will be with the One who has delivered me from having to make a poop in a hole in the woods for the rest of my life,

for one informed, knowledgeable individual who does not write as though he wasa getting paid by the platitude.

    sincerely and regards,

  3. I realize your just venting, but the employees at the ASC office were just doing their job. there was a no name match, that's why you needed to have your marriage certificate.

    Hello and regards,

If their job is to be inefficient and rude, then I would have to agree they are just going their job!

Thank you for your accurate description of what goes on, yea, its just like that around here too.

    Sincerely and regards,

  4. i have to stick to wheat bread unfortunately. ill giv the chops a try.

been wanting something new to do w them.

aaaand he doesnt do peanut butter lmao nor do wr actually even have any lol

side note. seriously typing on a vita is ridiculously hard.

the screen is just too big to reach the whole keyboard

    Hello and regards,

My suggestion is to make rice and beans. It has a nice taste and you can make it for very little money.

Also I would pour some water into whole milk. Nobody needs all that fat in whole milk anyhow.

Also I would eat more fruits and vegetables and stay away from meat.

I would stay away from processed foods and meat, not needed.Huge Budget killers and the meat...full of ####### from all the hormonal ####### they feed the animals for higher yield

Have just a small handful of nuts from time to time for energy and a feeling of satisfaction.

Skip the meat, your better off, have you had a good look at the meat industry?

I used to eat processed foods until I started thinking about the people processing them.

    Sincerely and regards,

  5. Well, not a proper woman, in a formal setting.

    Hello and regards,

ok, I can see your point. That although women do not have a ####### some would like to have one.

As far as the topic of guns and relations to the #######, that is nothing new they have been saying that for around 130 years.

Also they have been saying the same thing about envy for about as long.

I did not know that Dr. Freud and his old fashined ideas were enjoying a revival. His stuff is pretty debuked thses days.

  6. VSC reminds me of Vogons...

    youtube.com/watch?v=cbN1NaQ7yQI

Signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again and finally buried in soft peat for three months...

    Hello and regards,

The further they get behind the closer they are to speeding up, that much is for certain

  7. Hello and regards,

I am not an expert on this topic but if so many people are unable to resolve business related conflicts without violence why not just reduce the conflicts by reducing the business. Just use covert funding to let one business faction gain a monopoly, and reducing the number of conflicts based on competition. It would probably cut the number of homicides in half and promote market stabilization. Following this the commodity itself could be subsidized so that consumers reduce their need to commit crimes to obtain income for their products.

This will make the city more attractive to relocating businesses and others.

    Sincerely and regards,

  8. I agree my NOA 1 is July 9 and I have read of some people on here a couple of days past my date who have been approved. makes you wonder how they process these... happy for those who have been approved already. hoping to hear something very soon.... :bonk:

    Hello and regards,

I would like to share with you my opinion on this topic..

First you have to consider delays due to bacgkround checks.

Let's just rule that out for fun.

What if its just as simple as Adjudactor A is more efficient than Adjudactor B and, just for fun, Adjudactor B is not only slower but gets a directive to also process other application types. say regular 129's.

Maybe you get A. Maybe you get B, or C, or D, who has to use up days off or lose them?

To me this sounds about as plausibe as anything else, all other things being equal.

    Regards and sincerely.

  9. You can still be put into AP for further checks, even after the interview. Checks are done at every step in the process.

And yes, applications are processed in the order they come in the door. They are taken apart, put into the order they want them in, put in a box, and await adjudication. Some cases move quickly and some do not. Every case is different, and will proceed, depending on its contents, at it's own pace.

    Hello and regards,

I would be inclined to agree with you with the exception that you make inaccurate assertions.

Inaccurate Processing Times and Processing Delays

During the March 29, 2012, meeting with AILA, USCIS representatives stated that they would do further investigation as to the source of the discrepancy between the processing times listed online and the “actual” processing times that are provided to National Customer Service Center (NCSC) information officers (AILA Doc. No. 12033045).7

Question 5a: What did your investigations reveal as the source of the discrepancy?

Response: Investigations revealed that our Texas Service Center had inadvertently been processing cases out of receipt order thereby deviating from our standard first-in / first-out policy. This processing error is believed to be the source of the customer complaint that was raised during the March 29 meeting. The processing time calculation was confirmed to be correct, and it is important to note that the processing times posted on the web are not representative of real-time active case status (i.e., an aging report), but are an approximation of the average time that an office is taking to complete the processing of cases received.

    6 77

USCIS has by their own admission processed applications out of sequence. I have seen them skip over an entire month at VSC.

What evidence exists that they always process applications in the proper order other than their own claims?

    Regards and sincerely.

  10. Im sure some of you have seen my posts. I was amoung many of the other december and november filers who was getting my hopes up about the whole "your fiance alien registration number has been changed".

I hate to be the one to say it but it IS a glitch. I called USCIS before..I got up past the original lady to immigration ..the lady said..all looks well, your case has been assigned an alien number..i took that as a great thing and started to let people know..but I still just didnt get it..I couldnt accept it. I called again and waited an hour on the phone..got to a really nice immigration officer who actually knew what he was talking about. He said just TODAY he personally has gotten tons of calls about this and it IS a glitch he said. These people arent getting an alien registration number this fast and its still the same. I saw another person say this but since I called and the lady sounded so SURE everything was fine and in place, that maybe SOME of us are really getting something special. Sad news :( "Almost all, or probably ALL of these people are just getting the glitch, Im so sorry if this is getting peoples hopes up"-exact quote from him. Really nice, felt like he actually felt bad.

Im not too sad because I really didnt think it could happen, but there was a little light burning in me saying maybe just maybe its true :P

Anyways,, he did say that some people are getting NOA2s at 3 months and 4 months(No one on VJ huh!) and he wished me luck to get an early NOA2. Just thought Id let you all know, and all of us should have listened to our "elders"..aka the people here that know so much more and have been going through this longer! :D

And hey..Not everyone might have the same answer as mine..maybe there really is someone who is gonna get a VERY fast NOA2! I hope so, Id love to see someone get so lucky!

Anyways I really hope my previous post didnt get anyones hope up even higher, I just trusted the lady but now I know better haha. I hope everyone stays happy and I wish the best for everyone and hope everyone gets fast NOA2s and all those strong people who have already been waiting so long, I hope you gets urs even faster!

    Hello and Regards,

    Thanks for sharing this information.

They tend to have "glitchs". For example the "glitch" of processing applications out of sequence from the order recieved..

Regarding the conflicting information....the lower tier is contracted out I believe, they are not in the same loop as upper Tiers, if I recall correctly.

"Hey, what happened to the November Filers Boxs"

I dont know I thought you had them!"

    |NO Im doing December..."

    Whoops!!

  11. I just read where a fellow VJ'er, had his or her K 1 129 F, returned to VSC, and was under the understanding that it might or is probably because of a ""background"" check.,.,.,but according to the USCIS web site, ""background checks are done during the initial interview segement, at VSC.,.,.,so my question is.,.,.,.,.Does VSC and NVC do ""background checks"" on petitioner's, I thought after 186 days at VSC.,.,at least we were moving along on our long journey! Comments is well received!!!!.,.,.,.,and requested!!!

    Hello and Regards,

I am not an expert, but I am pretty sure that if you have your NOA-2 in your hand, you have already cleared the background check, and unless you have some unique circumstance, you should be A.O.K!

Most of the 186 days that you speak of was probably spent sitting in a box on a shelf waiting for someone to open it and spend 15-20 minutes processing your application. The background checks are sent out very early on, and most likely it was done long before it ever made its way to an adjucators desk.

In regards to what they describe as far as a process, consider that they also claim that applications are processed in the order received

  13. Like I said, check for yourself unless you want to trust Joe Blow the border agent...

From the DOS website (http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_970.html#crime) :

    Hello and regards again,

This official document does seem consistent with what the gentleman from San Diego was speaking of, traveling a short distance into Mexico.

In regards to speculating about future possible probabilities for the Original Poster, I do not see what is the bearing on his original question.

Sometimes I right, but I can be wrong

P.S I really have to read more closely

When he said "Like I said, check for yourself unless you want to trust Joe Blow the border agent..." i read it too quickly and skipped the two words "Trust Joe". :reading: :reading:

Of all the suggestions made I didnt feel that was a good idea!

  14. Hello and regards,

I have been lazy and have not read all the replies but i did want to express my own opinion since it does seem like you would like to hear some opinions.

    No Go.

That's it, that's all. Based on the facts of the matter as you present them, I think the whole situation is a solid No Go for you.

The reasons are not in need of enumeration.

I would, at all costs, avoid situations with the party in question that may lead to more specific situations leading to Fatherhood, if you know what I mean.

I hope this helps. It is my opinion, but I am not in your shoes.

    Regards and sincerely,

  15. To enter Canada - YES, to enter Mexico - NO. There is special provision for 40 or 30 mile zone.

    Rent apartment - much cheaper.

    Hello again and regards,

I think, in my opinion, that the Gentleman from San Diego has a proper statement of fact based on his own recent personal experience, and that is very good news for you.

If you find yourself in a circumstance where you wish to travel to Quebec via Northern Vermont, then you also have solid facts.

Although I cannot say for sure what might be your best course of activity, I would expand my communication with the gentleman from San Diego.

I also have, in fact experience on both borders. While staying on Coronado Island for training I traveled to Mexico easily and without delay, and reentered in a similar style. Going through the Great Northern Kingdom of Vermont en Route to Quebec city was also no problem. This was however, not very recently, actually it was quite some time ago, therefore I am clearly unqualified to offer an opinion on the current border situations.

Again, I wish you luck and more,

    Regards and sincerely,

  16. Hello,

Regards. I think everybody who made a suggestion had good ideas. I would have to say to you as well that perhaps you cn look to a brighter future as far as your options go.

For example, maybe in the future New Mexico will offer the enhanced driving license. It is possible that you could get one of these even with your current complicated situation regarding finances.

In short, I am saying that this is a door that maybe could open up for you, maybe not next week, but maybe not so far away in the near future. After all your state is a border state and these are the states that would probable want to offer the special driving license in the future.

I hope that I have offered some suggestion that can encourage you a little.

I think you asked a very specific question and it seems like you have to wade through a lot of replies from Dr. Phil before you can get some direct response to your question.

In the meantime, some action that can be taken would be to have your girlfriend make a visit outside her country and then come back, if possible.

This can increase her chances of getting her visa to the USA approved.

Good luck and regarding the replies, take what you need and leave the rest :reading:

  17. Hello and regards,

I have to say that my wife has changed her diet.

For example, she used to eat certain foods that she cannot get anymore. As a result she does not eat those foods anymore.

Next, she founds some new foods that she did not have before, and now she eats those.

So, all in all, all things considered I would have to say that she has changed her diet.

One thing she likes a lot is Fritos Corn Chips. Sometimes she likes the Barbecue flavor Fritos Corn Chips.

I do not want to get the wrong kind, so I will send her a text message that says "Sweetheart, which Fritos do you want today?"

If I do not get a reply, if she is busy for example, I will buy the Original Fritos.

My wifey also likes McDonalds French Fries, but only if they are recently cooked. One time on the way back from the Mall we went through the Drive up at Macdonalds and got our order and it turned out the Fries were almost cold. She was very upset, si I parked the car and went into Mcdonalds and they were very helpful and gave me fresh fries from the deep fryer. This made my wifey smile from ear to ear, and she was so happy she even shared with me!

    Thanks and regards,

    Yours Nascarfan

  18. Thanks,

    2. I have read the whole paper too many times and don't understand if it's a warning because there is no payment penalty against the violation (non-moving).

    3. I had my parking light on but not the full light. I was driving with the parking lights on.

What are you trying to say as regards #3.

    Hello,

If the law enforcement officer gave you a valid ticket, what will you be contesting?

    Kind regards,

    nascarfan
