    AOS interview today -- APPROVED!! "Green Card" is on it's way! Now we can relax for a while, and enjoy our forever!

    Finally.. AOS Interview, May 17th!! So ready to be able to rest easy for a while, and not have to worry about immigration,

    YOu wouldn't beleive it I went down to get my Georgia license today and did not have to wait long my number came up pretty quick. At first the lady at the front desk told me no I needed a GC and then I showed her the page I printed from the net where it says I only need my EAD card and marrrige cert. SO she said take a seat and fill in this form, she was really nice. Oh she also told me I would not be able to do the road test. SO I get called nice lady named Janice looked at me weird and ...

      We live in Georgia as well, and my husband got his driver license without having an EAD. He had his social security card and proof of residence. He did the theory, and road test all in one day, lol. So glad things worked out for you. :)

    Visa was issued yesterday. YAY! POE on Oct 25th, wedding on Oct, 28th., my love here forever.. :)

    GOT MY VISA IN THE MAIL! No joke, it was the hardest package I've ever had to open, I just tore the thing to pieces in a fury.

      Don't worry about informing the Embassy about not getting the packet 3. I just verified my fiance's address with the NVC. No need to wait for a new packet to be sent. We did receive the Packet 4 - which is just the interview letter. No problems from the Embassy other the missing Packet 3.

      Call this number for the National Visa Center: 202-663-1225 and give them your LND number. Ask them when they mailed Packet 3. Once you have mailed your packet 3 off you can keep in touch with NVC and make sure they received and logged it. Then a few weeks later you can check for an interview date.

      DS-156k, DS-157 & DS-230 Part 1, Plus the IV-15 checklist.

      You don't have to wait on the packet to arrive. We still haven't received ours, yet we mailed in the necessary paperwork and have an interview scheduled.

    C went through Atlanta POE and had a very pleasant experience... finally together after 4 months and three weeks!!!
