Got a letter on July 19 saying I am approved and guess what's next------> I got the new green card today! Wooot woot!

I am just wondering, does any of you guys who got approved did ever went to interview? Or you guys just got approved without interview? I'm just kinda worried because there are some of you (that I noticed) who got approved faster than I do. I haven't got an interview letter yet or RFE. I just don't hear from them since I filed Feb 1st this year.

Sent it Jan 31, 2013 via UPS over night shipping and they received it Feb 1.

Got my NOA yesterday friday Feb 8! But I am confused about the date written in the letter. The receipt was dated 7 days back but i just received it yesterday.

i just want to know (if ever you can help me on this), where can i file my I-485 since i got my visa based on my K1-visa. Is it In CHicago lockbox? Im quite confused. Thanks. Your reply will be a big help.

we're one of the october 2009 filer...right now i'm in the process of waiting my visa. i got a pink slip after i got interviewed and everyone told me here in VJ that's its one of the strong proof that i got the approval. I asked to pay the visa issuance fee and the lady in Window 33 told me to wait for my visa and as soon as i get it i need to go to CFO seminar before departure. Oh the consul who held the interview didn't asked me for more additional documents, the interview went fast and fine. I am hoping to get the visa next week. I'm praying.

my question is, do i need a two way ticket (back and forth) or only one way ticket to Arizona(where my fiance --soon to be husband lives). My fiance is worried about this and he wanted me to find an answer asap.

Secondly, i'm in the process of waiting for my visa issuance. I just went to my interview today and got a pink slip and paid the visa issuance fee via fedex. The lady in Counter 38 told me to wait for the visa issuance and once i get the visa i need to go to CFO seminar. Since the lady told me to wait for the visa, does it mean i got approved? I want to make sure. Im a bit worried. since i didn't hear this exact word from the consul during my interview. But he did say "wait for your number to be called for instructions" Thank you for coming".

hi to all!

i just went to my interview today and i can say it all went fine. I just want to make sure if i passed the interview or not? Since the consulate didn't tell me anything other than "Thank you for coming" . The interview was fast and just lasted like 7 to 10mins. There is no additional requirement he ask of me and rather he joked around and said "So you are the one responsible for this heavy stuff" (because i bring a lot of stuff during the interview) and he just told me to wait for my visa.

I paid the visa courier fee and i got a pink slip. The last counter who i went through said to wait for my visa and have my CFO seminar once i get my visa. Does it mean I got an approval? or what? I want to make sure..

Those who undergone interview and got a visa approval i think you can help me. Thanks guys..

Have a nice day Maria and happy valentine's day to you,,,,were same case.I was working in dubai too before last 2004 to 2006.I'm done my interview last jan.11,2009 then visa approved with out having a foreign clearance from UAE.The US embassy will not asked any foreign clearance from UAE.So, dont worry girl.Good Luck.

I worked in UAE for 2 years..from 2006-2008. I left UAE April 20, 2008 and did not come back again and just stay here in Manila since then. I got my Police Certificate 2009 (march 3,2009 exactly). My problem is, will this be a problem during my interview? That my Police Certificate is now outdated? Can i just show them my passport supporting my outdated Police Certificate as a proof i did not come back in UAE since then?
