Oh---and write separate checks with the memo part filled out with the application # and name of applicant...easy for you to keep track of so you know what reached whom, and when.

Don't make the mistake some people do and combine all the payments into one huge check.  That gets confusing for the person who's processing it all.

One clarification, what did you mean by application #?

  2. Hi,

I am finalizing the packages to file and had couple more questions, I would appreciate your feedback:

    1. I-130 I am the petitioner - do I need to include all the pages of my US passport or just the first page?

    2. Should I also send a copy of my social security and drivers license? My driver's license has my last address.

    3. What is the best option to send out the application - fedex overnight?

    Thanks

    downloaded from where? certified????

not sure (just anywhere ) is accepted / i could be wrong but too easy to fake these

try IRS and getting offical transcripts / just walk into any IRS office, give your ID and SS card and ask for them

I went to irs.gov and created a profile and was able to download these files. Here is the link https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript You can get either online transcript or get it via mail.

  4. Hi!

I love this forum and I'm thankfull for the great feedback I get. I had a question for support to supply with I 864. I downloaded tax transcripts for 2014, 2015 and 2016 and wage and income statements too. I also have copy of tax return from turbotax for 2016 and w2 for 2016, but cant seem to locate those for 2014 and 2015. Will taz transcripts suffice?

also I plan to submit paystub for 6 months and a printout of my compensation statement.

Next question: As far as I understand I need to file separate i 864 for my mother and for my father. Do I mention anything about them in their i 864, like anything about ky dad in my mom's i864?

    thanks!

  5. Hi everyone,

I am preparing the documents to file for my parents green cards. I will be filing I-130 and I 485 together as they are in the US now. I prepared G 325 A forms for both of my and myself as a petitioner, however, my friend told me that with the current forms  G 325 is no longer required. I checked in the instructions for I 485 and it does sound like G 325 is no longer required but wanted to confirm with you once again.

My second question related to i 864 forms. I have downloaded the tax transcripts from irs website. Should I send my W2s with the transcripts ? Also, should I sent pay stubs for the past 6 months?

    Thanks !

  6. I am sorry to hear what you are going through. I also had a very busy lifestyle before moving to US and in the beggining it was great to relax a little bit. But then it can definetely get boring to sit at home. So I understand you. Just use your free time wisely, try to get ready for job market in US. In my case, I need to do a lot of reading. Watch some positive shows online and try not to check your status every other second. Eveything will be ok. I just had my AOS interview and received my greencard, I am sure everything will be fine in your case too. Just be natural on the day of the interview and everything will go awesome.

    Good Luck

  7. Hi guys,

We have our AOS interview next week and I am trying to put our documents together. I have a few questions before the interview and would really appreciate your feedback.

    1. The interview checklists says that we should bring originals and copies of each document submitted with our application. Does that mean that we need to bring originals of documents submitted with I-864 and copy them again?

    2. Regarding supporting evidence of our relationship, in particular correspondence, we've been keeping in touch since 2008. Since when exactly should we present them the correspondence? We did already for I 129 f package and for my interview for fiancee visa, does this mean that we only need to present correspondence since my arrival to US?

I know a lot of people have been posting questions on what evidence to take to interview. But I'd like to post the checklist of my evidence I have to take to make sure I don't miss anything:

    1. New lease agreement with both of our names on it

    2. Mutual Bank Account - is it sufficient to take checks with both of our names on them and print screenshot of our online account statement? Or do we need to get a letter from the bank certifying that we have a joint account?

    3. Pictures ( together, with family and friends)

    4. Facebook messages, gmail letter exchange since our marriage

    5. My cell phone account statement with both of our names

    6. Call logs to each other on

    7. Documents showing that we owe 2 cars, although both of our cars are still on my husband's name

    8. Copy of insurance enrollment form, I am on my husband'sinsurance

    9. Copy of our Gym passes, we both go to the same gym

Thnx a lot for your ongoing support !

    Bestregards,

    Bimik

  8. You need to obtain a copy of your vaccination sheet and take it to a certified civil surgeoun in your area. He needs to complete Part 1 and submit the vaccination section of Part 2 with your form. Go to http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-693instr.pdf instructions and read page 4, section 3, point 2. We paid $50 to have him complete the vaccinations page and seal it. You are not required to have a full medical examination as long as your AOS was filed within a year of your overseas medical exam. However, some civil surgeons will want you go through the whole process all over, chose the one who knows the rules and will not make you do that.

    Good luck,

    Bimik

  9. Hi there ! I arrived to US on K1 visa and we filed our AOS on August 24th. I also received a notification on September 2nd. I had my biometircs appointment 7 days ago. So hopefully you will also have some news soon ! The whole process may take up to 6 months. I'd advise you to check your case status online regularly, they update there in what stage is your case at the moment. Go to https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do and put the number which was indicated on your NOA.

Hopefully you will have some news soon.

    best,

    Bimik

    Hi everyone,

I am a US citizen. My wife filed her AOS on August, 25th. We got our receipt notice in the mail on September 2nd. We still haven't received our biometrics appointment letter!!!

I calles the 1800 USCIS number last week and they did a service request. Nothing new so far...

What are my best options? Should I schedule an Infospass? Contact my local congressman? Wait? ( I am tired of waiting, our case is already way outside of processing time)

Thanks a lot for your help!

  10. Hi !

I mailed responce to our AOS RFE couple days ago and checked that they already received the requested documents. Today I checked my status online on USCIS website and I see our case is transferred from Acceptance stage to Initial Review. I am wondering when approximately I will receive my work permit as I was referred to several positions at a company here and I am contacted by recruiter for interview. Visajourney timeline prediction is between October 20th and October 28th. Do you think it is still possible given that I had an RFE ?

Also, my case had the information below: Do you know what it means? I
