Hello Vj'rs I just wanna thank everyone here especially to those who response our previous queries,as I mentioned 2 weeks ago we've got numerous RFE,it took us 10 days to assemble everything,and send it off on friday 17th of sept.they resumed the process 21st of sept.and today 23rd we got approved!IT WAS REALLY GREAT IT FEELS ONE OBSTACLE DOWN!THANK YOU GUYS!!!

hello everyone,as of my previous post,we are having a numerous RFE,two of them were the 'Life insurance and Health insurance which currently we don't have any of the two.

question: Do we really need to apply for insurances? we inquire few agency but they are pretty much expensive so do guys think it is fine to make an statement that we don't have any of these two insurances they were asking me?

Any one here that had been asked for life insurance and health insurance but they didn't send any to USCIS? do these two thing will get us denied or it is fine to have a notarized statement? why can't have any rightnow.

*NOTARIZED affidavit from the applicant's united states citizen spouse. describing his or her wishes to pursue this application and detail the current status of the relationship,affidavit must include a current copy og the spouse state issued identification or driver's license.with notarized signature in the copy.

*submit properly executed form I-864,affidavit of support completed by the US citizen spouse.

(we already submitted this with the original package)

*List and describe the three most characteristics traits posses by a us citizen spouse initially drew to him/her.the same with the applicant.

question:does anyone has similar RFE?

*Submit photo together holding a recent newspaper frontpage

(weird RFE)

*Submit photos of the wedding, shows family and friends. in attendance if the US citizen's parents did not attend please submit a notarized statements indicating why they didnt attend. the same statement with the siblings.

(frustrating)

(I just closed my checking account that I open when I got her as I don't have money in it anymore no money getting in so there's no reason to stay it active.just to avoid the overdraft fees.He added me his account when we get this letter,but it shows my maiden name in there as my social security name is not yet changed.

Question:should we send them the proof that he added me his checking account show's my maiden name in their?

B.)copies of applicants and spouse three most recent credit cards statements

(I don't have any credit cards used since I got here.)I don't like using credit card on spending.My husband has one active credit card in his name only.

Question: would that be a problem that my husband only holds the finance in his name?

C.)submit applicants health and life insurance

Question:we don't have any health and life insurances would that be a problem?only we have is our car insurance together.

*Submit evidence of the applicants mortgage,leases or rent.

(we live in a house that with mortgage)

question:would that be a problem if Only my husband name show's in the mortgage?

ya, the email notification usually not say 'what its for', just a notice that ya got an RFE

@flustered,thanks for the reply,I don't really feel him that way he is not like that,I am not force to do anything in the house or in the office,so I don't really feel that he treat me like a made,what I am saying is I don't feel like having a wife's responsibility as he took care everything from paying bills,planning the changes of the house and going to a grocery store sometimes we did it together though.we havent had a joint account at the bills or at the bank,he is planning that few months ago but we havent done anything yet.maybe he is just a very private person,he doesn't want me to open mail that adressed to him.which I don't open anyway unless he asked it just I always open to him every single detail of my life and happenings.

good day everyone,It sucks i've got RFE in the mail today don't know what are the lacking evedence they were asking for I"ve gotta wait for the official noticed in the mail and I'm going crazy thinkin' what it could be:(

I'm hoping that it isn't something to do with the AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT coz when we are preparing for the papers,I have my husband's copy of his STUFFS related to the affidavit of support I asked him if all that they requested are here he told me that he included verything that he HAD in hand,I asked him what were those papers he said that all he knew is he photocoppied everything his paperworkS.He was kind of getting pissed with all those paper works stuff we are preparing and he is not really explaining every papers that he photocoppied,I don't know nothing about his papers as my husband quiet private with his stuff.So I'm praying that this RFE hasn't something to do with his papers coz if it does I'll be hurt and don't know how to deal with it.

Also we don't have any Joint account,or whatever joint stuffs that most couple has.All we have is the car insurance,that shows my name in it too.I don't want to keep pushing him about having a joint account or anything that will make him feel uncomfortable.I'm just thinking that if he is really interested on getting me more involved to his life being his wife he knows what to do,and what we need to do.I tried to avoid about discussing something that involves money as I don't want him feel uncomfortable,as before we got married he open up the prenuptial agreement,which for me he is protecting himself financially,but I don't signed anything because I know that my intentions on marrying him is genuine so we got married without any pren up.I LOVE HIM SO MUCH and that's all I care when I decided to marry him.I know he loves me so much too and that's the thing that hold us up to now.It just hurt me when I felt that he is very private person even to me,he is in control of everything and I'm prety much depending him and our marriage,sometimes I don't feel any responsibility being a wife.He paid bills,he open up his own mails,and everything,he don't even shows me the bills if I don't ask.He went groceries for us sometimes we did it together.I wanted to help him lessen his responsibility when he was single.what I can't do anything as I don't have any source of income rightnow.I mostly go to his work everyday help him answering phonecalls but I don't have any salary from there as I'm his wife and I'm happy to help him out there for free.He got some workers and it makes me felt better thinkin I help him in any way I could.sometimes I just felt frustrated when I don't have any money to buy something for the house and for him,and needed to ask him it feels embarrased.

Hello guys first off good day to everyone!Today I had unusual touched on my AOS,After two months my case got transferred to the CSC office.when they transferred my case the sent me noticed.and email noticed.after the biometric it's a week exactly they sent me email noticed that the case been transferred and being process at the USCIS office,after another week they sent me notice again that my case were transferred and being process! I just let it go and today It's updated 08/25/2010 but stays on initial review and now being process.guys is this normal?that you got lots of updates after 3 months of filing?please need some inputs regarding my case.thanks GOD BLESS!!

It happened the same with me.

First they ordered the production of my EAD and then they approved the petition...

Probably it's our file being updated by different people that don't communicate...

Oh and it happened with my GC too! First I got "Card production ordered", then "Welcome letter mailed", and then, twice, "Approved petition"...

Apparently you'll be receiving your card anytime now!

Yes, that's the third update. When it says we mailed you a notice, it means, we mailed you the card. You should get it shortly. We got my husband's 2 days after we got the last notification.

Assuming that the EAD process is the same, regardless of which visa you are adjusting from....

you should get at least 2, maybe 3 notifications from USCIS.

1 - notice of card production being ordered

2 - same (maybe)

3 - notice that it was mailed to you.

That's totally normal. Congrats on getting the EAD!

I only got 1 notice.that was aug 3 says that on aug 2 I got my EAD approved and card production ordered.

today when I checked the uscis website it is updated"aug 05,2010, this is all it says

Congrats!!! I mailed in the AOS package just a few days after yours so I hope to get our approval soon. I bet it feels good to have that weight off your shoulders.

Good luck on the process!just stay positive and pray.I had some sleepless night before I got AP/EAD approved.and that wont even help a bit!!! Everyday I went to my hubby's work and been staring my laptops screen waiting for the USCIS email.I oftened check my case several times an hour!

Is there any way to expeditate the EAD?well I am not in so much hurry as I am enjoying spending my days with great filipinas neighbors,and going to my husband's office almost everyday while waiting for the EAD.

But if there's something we can do to expedite the EAD process without any additional cost would be great.I Just read some post here with their timeline that they called to expedite the EAD.is it true?

hmmm I FOUND HER NOT COMPATIBLE,you should know her better before petitioning her,and also you should consider everything that she gave up just to be with you.If you also knw that bringing her here and deporting her will ruined her immigration record for the rest of her life.POOR GIRL COMING OVER HERE WITHOUT KNOWING YOU BETTER TOO.

We are on a similar situation. Look at my timeline.. I got few touches on my I-485 but still on initial review. EAD not touched since the day after biometrics.

Yea we're just almost similar timeline,now another update I just checked online after 1 hour checking says 7/12/2010 AOS touched the same note "being processed",I wonder how many touches before they approved!

Those were touches you received. AP was not updated since it was received at CSC on my case and I received it in the mail last week and it still says "initial Review". You can't really go by those updates.

When my wife filed, I was checking online every single day..Guess what, they didn’t update the system until the end.. Now, every case is different and every history have a different result.. "Typically", the whole process should take around 3-5months and "typically" EAD/AP should land in hands 30/60 days after biometrics? but, don’t get worry about my answers as every case is different.. By the way, my wife's case was also transfer to CSC..

I see I just wanna make sure that we got any updates for everything,as I'VE GOT a friend that they dont get the updates and they were just waiting which results of being denied and paid another $600 for filing the case again,I just don't want my husband being stress out if I don't pay any attention with all the paper works.

Also I would like to find a job soon,I was thinking of applying job online while they were working on my EAD,BUT I am scared that might violate my visa which I don't have any intentions on doing so.

wow that was so quick to get approved and biometric done for you.We filed my AOS May 24th,they recieved the application may 26,we've got notification for acceptance 2 of june,saying that my 1-485,my EAD,and my travel documents application accepted june 2,next step is biometric.so now I'm waiting for that.But it seems so quick for your processing.Good luck and God bless
