Okay, so everything did not go smoothly. They gave back the passport and a white paper,and said they'll call. Apparently we are still (again?) in admin processing.

New pick up date--thursday!! Hope everything goes smoothly. Babs said there were 150 people waiting for visas. They got through most of them, but he and some others will have to come back.

It's like when you fly to Ghana, and the plane ride is like 12 hours or something, and the first 11 hours are fine, but the last hour takes longer than all the others combined because you're so anxious to just get there! It's like that. We could wait out 6 months of admin processing, but another week? Really??

Babs was one of the ones who was told to come back--this thursday!! It sounds like it was crazy there. Hoping everything goes much smoother this week. I'm glad you got yours!

Visa Approved!!! Pick up on the 24th!! Babs just got his new passport yesterday, so he wasn't able to update the medicals, but the CO didn't say anything about it. Praise God!

Babs is hoping to get his new passport early this week so he can finish his med & police cert before the June 15th date the embassy gave him.I'm still amazed the embassy let him in without any ID after the passport was stolen last week! God is good!

The embassy called Babs today! After six months of AP, they didn't tell him anything good or bad, just to come on Wednesday. Praying! Praise God either way!!

Not yet! Emailed the embassy, and they got back to me in only 4 days (!), but just a standard "still-in-processing-and-we'll-contact-him-when-we're-ready" message.

Sorry for not updating sooner!! The interview went well, but we have some paperwork still to get in and then "significant" administrative processing. I'm in Ghana and just trying to spend as much time as possible with my fiance for now.Will update more later!
