I don't think the k-1 scheduling thing really changes a whole lot. The k-1's still have to wait for there packet 4 to sign up for an interview. The packet 4 used to have a pre-assigned date now it just tells them they can pick a date for the following month.

I am sorry that things are so slow. Nothing could be worse.

The visa itself , at least in my case, is like a sticker on a page of my passport.

Maybe Canadiandggal would know.

That's how it looked anyway, i didn't want to play around with it too much, so it was "look at it and put it away" lol

they keep it to put our sticker/visa onto the passport. It looks like a second bio page. Maybe they just keep it to drive us more insane then we already are? It is on its way, I am sure:)4

Shewolf and mtlgato got scheduled today - for October 8 - so, the train is moving!! Their completion dates are about 3 weeks before yours, so, I am sure your interview date is coming up real soon!! Hang in there just a little longer!!!

Even though I'm not going anywhere, I'm having a bit of the same experience. I have to get rid of things to make room for the fiance. I'm cleansing too!

Hey Jewel . . . thanks for your note . . . c'mon, NVC, give Jewel a November date!!

Heading to Woking in Vancouver? If so the parking lot next door is like 27 dollars for 3 hours but if you drive down the ally and park on the Hornby street side you can park for 13 dollars all day and its just as close. Should be a breeze. I was out of there by 9 because I got in early. You can get in before most people if you go to the elevator in the underground parkade, otherwise you line up and wait for the gate to open out front.

My date is Oct. 8th as well. I'm sooo upset, because I'm supposed to be giving birth in VANCOUVER on or around Oct. 3rd! How can I fly all that way on Oct. 7?? And my poor baby!! I wish I could just give you my date, Jadenjewel. I can't believe the Montreal people are so heartless; they KNOW when my due date is!

Maybe as an early June case complete you'll squeak in for an Oct interview. My wife got a NVC supervisor on the phone yesterday and she said I would not make it for an Oct interview (I'm June 28 case complete), but she said I look pretty good for a Nov interview. here's hoping!!!

I'm sorry that you're having so many delays. It will happen. Immigration is the best practice for having patience.
