    Tomorrow, the Embassy will call Hamza, to bring his passport !!! Wishful thinking :) Who knows... right ?

      No, nothing happened... just wishful thinking! I did have my local congressman's office Email them. They haven't replied back yet though.

      I'm sure you would! :) I would too! I would think, and I don't know, that the short face to face time could affect the need to prove something to them. Ghani and I met in January 2008 and I've visted him 4 times since then and one of those times was for a solid month. So I think we should have enough "proof". I really hope they just check things out for you all and approve you quickly! I'll be praying for you two.

      i think they just want to make sure abt the relation and inchalah he will approved soon and thats not denial ofcors maybe becos u visited him only one time and u stay short time with him but dont worry thats not means they can denied the visa for this inchalah soon u he approve praying for u guy

      Make DAMN sure he has enough money when he goes. I dont' know what your paperwork said but the fee is $350 USD. Don't let him go with less than that or they will turn you away. I'd hate for what just happened to us to happen to anyone else. What time is Hamza's appointment? Ghani will be there for his at 1:30pm on that same day. :)

      If all your paperwork is ready he should be able to just call the embassy and tell them he's ready and they will give him a date. That's how Ghani got his date. :)

      Thanks Mandy, we have actually been trying to call the past few days, with no answer. Also the past two emails, I have sent them, remain unanswered. So I guess we will keep trying. Its just frustrating.

    Called the Embassy, and they emailed me Packet 3!!! Now to call for the Med exam, and Interview!!!

    Hey Mandy, I just had a quick question for you :) Did you ask to be scheduled about a month out, or is this just how they are scheduling interviews? I just wondering if I should be prepared to wait about a month for Hamza to have his interview, once packet 3 is complete.

    He dosnt have it yet :( We have just about everything we need to have it completed though. So we are just waiting for it to arrive. Im really tempted to call the embassy, and see if we can schedule an interview, before recieving packet 3. Im just not sure how that will go over. So Im a lil hesitant to call. We are hoping it comes quickly... maybe morrow?

    Hey, they sent me an email to my the USC. If you register on the USCIS website, to get updates, they will send you a text, email, or both. If you need help in registering there, let me know. I will tell you the steps.

    We got our NOA2 by text, and email at 11:32 Pm last night. They must have crazy work hours, BUT... Im not complaining!!! YAY!
