Most of my friends here in US said that Biometrics is considered as an RFE. Coz thats what happen to them before and the fact that the dates of what they posted online and the mail are both Jan. 22.

well if thats the case it doesn't make sense then since if you have ur green card you can just work right away. in my understanding filing for working permit is needed if you don't have ur green card yet so u can apply for job while u don't have green card yet.
