    We got blue slipped over notarized translation. The translation done in USA and notarized was accepted by NVC but not good enough for Guangzhou. We will redo the translation and resubmit this week.

      2 weeks has passed since they had the new documents. I check with DOS everyday but no update. I will send them an email once 3 weeks passes.

      3 months is their standard answer to everyone. My guess is 2 to 4 weeks. Then another week to send passports and get the visa. We had to redo a translation in China.

      Interview June 9 Blue slip

      EMS June 15 documents asked to the embassy

      June 17 Embassy received documents

      June 22 Embassy responded email saying are documents are in queue for processing, it can take up to 3 months.

      DOS phone line says it is still in processing.

      I am hoping we receive call in letter this week.

    Yeah, I'm suprised how fast the proccess went. I was always off by two weeks for each of the steps, so it only took less then three month to get the interview.

    Finally got touched September 8, 2010. It's something anyway, after 6 months and nothing. Will call again the 9-25-10 will be 7 months.
