Thanks for the info, the NVC said the same "about a week" but we're going on 18 days since NVC says they sent it & I'm getting worried/anxious! We have everything in order, just waiting on the mail...

Stuck at Waiting between NVC "Sent" Case to Embassy & Embassy "Recieves" Case

Congratulations! Just a couple simple steps left! So far, our case still hasn't arrived in the Embassy from NVC, I'm wondering when it will, cuz it's frusterating waiting again, when we have everything done already. But at least it can't be longer than August 31st!

Well, for an earlier interview I starting calling around from one number to the next, each telling me they don't handle that there, and ended up with the correct number to that department of the Embassy (506)220-3939 & found that the embassy hasn't recieved our case yet, so we'll call every so often until it arrives, then we can try for an earlier interview. Thanks for the info! We just recieved our interview date! (Quicker than I expected) We're scheduled for August 31st! Too long... Another question though, what does he need to take to the medical exam? Do we have to wait for some paper work or does he just go?

Congratulations! We're excited for you! Tho we don't know you personally, those working on immigration are kinda like family. NVC didn't finish our AOS til 3rd week in June, so no scheduling til 2nd week of July (interview in Aug) I was thinking of trying to change interview date with embassy also. Was it very difficult? Congrats! You are very near to the pot of gold!

I called again when I got off work to ask about the NVC emails I recieved (again) and the lady I spoke with cut me off to tell me that they had finished reviewing our case and has been approved. Now they are waiting to schedule an interview! The lady informed me that they only do scheduling on the 2nd week of each month. So they will SCHEDULE our interview in th...

Wow Congrats! The NVC recieved one of our packages, but the is taking forever to get to the AOS package. Can't wait till we get an interview date too! I will be ecstatic once we reach that point! Once again, Congratulations!!! =D

I-130 Petition Approved April 27th!

Hey thanks! I think our case is going very well. I wrote our senator for assistance after filing expidited processing (can't hurt) & recieved a letter from CSC that we will have a decision within 45 days (making it May 2nd) I've been checking timelines of people from Costa Rica, and it looks like the NVC takes less than one month before POE!!! I'm excited!
