    Already had the interview. After NOA2 you will do NVC Processing. Pay more fees, fill out the form Affidavit of Support, DS-230 and gather police records for the beneficiary. Beneficiary needs to actually sign the form DS-230, so if she needs to mail it to it as soon as you receive NOA2.

    It took a little less than 3 months from the time received at the NVC to the completion date. It could have been faster if the postal service did not delay the documents I was waiting for from my wife in Brazil to send to the NVC!

    Thanks again. I am pretty lucky because part of my family is from Rio as well and I always have a place to stay. Let me know if you have any questions. Even though it looks like you are sure of the immigration process. Good luck to you too!

    The interview is October 22 I believe. Thanks for the prayers! Hope everything goes well with your case. Looking at your timeline, your case should be completed sometime soon.

    The NVC sent me an email with the date of the interview.

      Parabems! You should be able to email the consulate in a couple of days to get the exact date for your interview. Brasil doesn't seem to take too long to set them up maybe a month or so. :)
