Sorry, I have been busy job hunting and have neglected my visa journey family.

We're heading up there this weekend and the following weekend for our BBQ wedding reception. My mom, sister and best friend are flying out. I cannot wait!

I know what you mean about the coast. I am in love with northern California and could easily move there.

Things are great! We had a little rain in LA last night (finally). I'll be heading up to Fresno in a few weeks for our BBQ wedding reception. I hope the weather cools down a bit. My hubby and I just rescued a puppy so my days are busy. Good luck with the AOS. It feels so good to send it off!

Finally sent off my AOS package!

Just applied for my SSN with my marriage license. It was a breeze!

We're doing a cookout too! His parents are hosting it and my mom and best friend are flying out. We originally wanted to have a 'traditional' wedding but decided to throw two parties instead. Our 2nd will be in Ontario next spring.

When is your wedding Vero? Clay and I are having a civil ceremony on Friday and party with friends on Saturday. We're planning a big family bash for October! Planning a wedding in 2 months is totally nuts, but I am having so much fun doing it (:

Got my visa in the mail! I'm flying to California TODAY!!!

If it isn't in tomorrows mail I'm rescheduling my flight. The prices have all gone up now and so I'll probably have to wait another week to be in LA. This sucks.

Not yet. I'm starting to freak out. I should have waited to buy my ticket but that nice guy who interview me assured me I'd have it by Monday or Tuesday. I so wanted to believe him! I checked CanadaPost though, and Montreal waited to mail it. Typical. It took them 5 business days to put my completed package in the mail!!! URGH!!!!! MONTREAL!!...

Where in Ecuador? Clay and I met in a cafe in Huaraz, Peru. We travelled through Ecuador and Colombia together afterwards. I love South America!!!
