My husband had his interview 4/12/2016 and passed with flying colors! We got there an hour early but there was a lot of people there that day so he did not get called until 11:20am, appointment was for 11:15am. I really stress to be early as there were 2 people there before us who were 15 minutes late from their appointment time and both were told they would have to wait until 2:30pm to see if others did not show up in order for them to be fit in.

As soon as my husband got into the room they began recording the interview, he took an oath, read a sentence, wrote a sentence and then was asked 6 questions which he got all correct but they asked 3 he was really having a hard time remembering(he is horrible with names) so glad he had a 2 hour ride to the appointment for studying, here are the questions but he doesnt remember the last one

Who was the first president?

Who is the speaker of the house?

Who is the Chief Justice of the United States now?

What is one promise you make when you become a United States citizen?

The Federalist Papers supported the passage of the U.S. Constitution. Name one of the writers

He was then asked a few questions about his current job and that was it, done in 11 minutes. IO asked if he wanted to participate in a special ceremony taking place at the Va State Capitol on May 6th which he said yes and received his paper on the spot

Not as of yesterday, from looking at the December thread looks like it usually takes 4-7 days to receive in the mail

Just checked online and says on March 4th interview was scheduled, super excited!!!

I was e-notified today that my interview has been scheduled and a letter with the date has been sent -- do I add today's date as "Int Ltr" or wait to receive the letter and then add that date? (I'm thinking the latter, based on the instructions, but wanted to ask).

Congrats! So exciting to see the ball is rolling for January filers.

Per other forums I have seen them update the interview letter with the e notification, you can always change if for some reason its different when you get the actual letter

It's been 8 days since my biometrics appointment, yet when I check my status online it just says that they received my application in January. The status does change when you're put in line for an interview, right? I foolishly didn't sign up for text messages.

There is a major issue with this thread and people updating their info, I would ask if you are unsure of how or which one to use to just post your info and ask someone to update. A lot of information is being lost which is defeating the whole purpose of some of us being here, my in line date of 2/5/2016 keep getting removed every other update.

Sorry not trying to be harsh but I know a few people on here have "cleaned up" the chart a few times to make sure we all have the most recent info to go by

This is not the latest version, the one above from Vishnya is. As you can see a few dates are missing including mine for IN LINE date. Lamasoft also has missing info now. Can you please remove your version?

Yes, it say as of 2/5/2016, so 2 days after our biometrics appointment. I am kind of surprised no one else has been updated yet, but could be they have not checked there status since they do not send you an electronic notification when it updates

Maybe it depends on who works the case as to what comes first, check cashed or e-notification. My check was cashed yesterday and we got the text and email yesterday but when I checked our case # online it says it was received 1/11/2016.

Hopefully you should receive something today, maybe check your junk email just in case it went there

i checked my online banking... It says ACH hold USCIS on my account..but the fee was already deducted on my account..Anybody knows what ACH Hold USCIS means?

It means automated clearing house, just means they are processing the check electronically. It doesnt mean they are taking the money out twice

Just got an email and a text message our case has been accepted and routed for processing. Check has not been cashed yet.

If you get transferred to CSC it's almost guaranteed you do not have to do an interview. That's what happened to us which was a big relief to not have to get together more evidence. Check out my timeline

Just wanted to give an update, we received notification today green card production has been ordered!!!!!!

Cool, looking at your timeline, I could predict that we'll get our EAD today..... but it seems kinda hard to find her a job in this economy without any job experience and having a Master's degree alone.

Yeah today will probably be your day.

My husband doesn't have a lot of the required experience or references so he has prepared himself that he is going be at the bottom of the todem pole for a while

We received my husband's EAD card Saturday, never received a 3rd notification it was sent so it was a nice surprise
