can't wait for the journey to be over!!!

anyway, in order to not run into any problems on the very last step, can somebody confirm what documents I need to take along?

so far I have (I applied based on 5 year in case that matters):

- Greencard (only have one, the 10 year one)

- current passport

- all expired passports (have an expired J1 visa in one of them and the immigrant visa in the other)

- the letter from USCIS saying I passed the interview

- the letter from USCIS saying oath date and time

- driver's license

and for afterwards:

- passport application

- passport pictures

does this sound complete to you? what else would you take along?

sounds good. i would add in a filled out application to update your social security information. i don't think you need your passports but take them anyway if you feel more comfortable doing so.

I got this email today from USCIS. I also received the yellow letter asking me to bring more information about a speeding ticket I got in 2001. I should have left that checkbox unchecked, that's what you get for being honest.

the request to bring your DL is most likely for additional identification, or to check your current driving record, but probably unrelated to your 1/10 offense.

i do suggest that you be prepared to update your application regarding your 1/10 traffic offense, and to bring proof of disposition for that incident.

I too recd my yellow letter requesting for DL. no reason mentioned.it just says found additional documentation may be needed. I just got a ticket on 1/10 for blocking intersection. the letter is dated 1/11. it just says to bring this original notice and the DL.
