  1. Wow I'm sorry about the confusion SDB. But you likely should have sent your application VIA UPS to

    USCIS

    Attn: I-129F

2501 South State Highway 121 Business

    Suite 400

    Lewisville, TX 75067

Sending it to a PO Box someone from the office, may not pick up your package. Sending it using the "Express mail or courier delivery" would be the correct address to use. The above address is a physical address, meaning it goes directly to the office. Sending it UPS to a Po Box may not work. I hope it goes well for you. I wouldn't suggest sending a new application, because they could accept the previous one and the second one. So you will want to wait for them to return your previous one.

  2. Its weird that they haven't cashed the payment. If an application is accepted then the payment is usually cashed and accepted in a matter of days. Thats something that I would be concerned about. Before the application can start processing they must accept the payment. I would try calling 020 7499 9000 (This is the embassy main switchboard. See if they know anything about the petition, or if they could transfer you to a USCIS individual.

  3. Call 1-800-375-5283 .. And ask the first person to transfer you to the next level/immigration officer. If they wont do it, then keep asking they'll have to. Be careful, I deal with the immigration officers weekly. Their not to nice needless to say, just give them respect and kindness or they will for sure hang up on you.

    Your welcome in advance!

  4. Well, not all school workers are employed by the county. But they do have companies that work for the school as a contract service, such as bus drivers and maintenance workers, and cafeteria workers. USCIS is like a service for this 'imperfect government'.

    (see funding)

Looks like you need to call Joyjoy :) .. Its been over 5 months! .. Hope everything goes well for ya!

  5. There are people on both ends of the telephone line. Some getting paid and some paying.

Thats true, but that doesn't mean you should treat them like the worse person in the world.. I'm ending the topic with you, you clearly just cannot comprehend anything.

  6. Your opinion is fine. Its exactly what I was looking for. You just never saw my point of view or opinion. I don't think its a smart move to have unexperienced employees doing the job. My point of view is from the individuals that are hired on and working the job. I don't really care about the government or the agency. I care about the people.

  7. If I had a mob of people at my door expecting something, I would stop answering the door and probably make sure the mob knew there was nothing here they wanted. I sure as heck wouldn't pay a bunch of inexperienced people with no necessary tools to read some letter I wrote to each individual in the mob.

On the other hand if the people in the mob were paying me I might hire some experienced people and provide them with some tools to give the service they paid for.

Then this is something you should take up with USCIS for yourself. They provide these individuals with the scripts. Did you also realize that USCIS does not receive any government funding? You are funding USCIS when you pay for an application, if they hired people with more experience and gave them access to more information, then you would have to take into account of the cost of giving those individuals a high security clearance and raising their salaries. This would result in higher filing fees, then you would whine about that right? When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When life gives you a person, you should treat them with respect even if they can't give you everything you ever wished for.

  8. Why should we pay for someone to read a script? If all they're doing is this then they should fire the whole lot and use a voice message.

Because at times, they can be helpful. Just not in the way that you expect to be unfortunately. I show them kind, courtesy, and respect when I call. They are so delighted and you can hear a ease set in when your talking to them in a cool collective, understandable manner. You should take into consideration. If you have a mob of people at your door expecting something, but you can't give them what they want because you've not been given the necessary tools or experience and to keep your family safe the only thing you can do is calm the mob and hold them off for a few months, wouldn't you do the same?

  9. Well for one thing, she isn't using a Form I-134. She is removing conditions using the form I-751, as most know it asks for 2 affidavits from people that has knowledge of your marriage. If the instructions to the form say nothing about them being notarized I would say you would be fine. It would be up to you to go the extra mile to get them notarized, do you think it would be more helpful if the affidavits are notarized? If you say yes in your head to this question, then maybe you should have them notarized.

  10. I have been working with a non-profit agency that help individuals with immigration matters, for several of years now.

I have seen on this website many let downs about the NCSC, I happen to call them several of times a month. Things that you should know and take into prospective is as followed.

Verify address? They don't have access to your personal information, don't even bother.

Case status? They don't have anymore access to your case then what you have already been given. You should try looking at the case status, and processing times since thats what they seem to do. After it has been over the estimated processing time, then maybe you should call.

Filling out forms? They can't help you do this either, #1 you are paying for the form. #2 they would be legally obligated to you if they help you fill out the form. #3 If the form is denied or reject for any reason you could always have the right to sue the individual that helped you. #4 The toll free number would be over populated and have long call wait times, you wouldn't want that would you?

Interview Schedule? They don't have access to that either, but again once your case has went outside of the estimated processing time, then maybe you should call.

The reason for this post, is for many people is what they should take into prospective before calling. Did you know the NCSC takes around 24,000 calls a day? Did you also know that this is human beings working for them? They try to help you the best they can, but its not as simple as you think, USCIS does not provide the 1st person you speak to with enough information to likely make you happy, I assume they are given script information that they have to read from. I do feel sorry for them, I can't imagine doing their job could you? However, this is their job. The job that feeds their family, pays their bills, and feeds them. If you had all of this on the line, wouldn't you be sticking to your guns and reading directly from your script? Try patience and respect it can get you a long ways in life. I wanna see how this post effect some people, and hear opinions. Hit reply now.

  11. OK, For what it is worth. I called 1-800-375-5283. The person I spoke to was polite but obviously restricted to a script. I was polite and asked what the five month time frame meant. The answer was that it was the expected time before a petition would be in front of someone for adjudication. This is essentially what I have gathered from reading here on VJ. There was no mention of a hold. I did not pursue that subject. There is ample evidence here that the actual time frame and expected time frame are only marginally related. This does not really clear anything up, but I am going to be positive and assume that the person En & Em spoke with was not well informed.

Everyone that calls the NCSC should take into respect that they take around 24,000 calls a day. With so many people calling and asking about the status of the case, wouldn't you just keep repeating yourself? Also you should think about the representative, they are only doing their jobs .. The job that feeds their family and pays their bills, wouldn't you be sticking to your guns and script if you had all of that on the line? Think about it people before you call, clearly the first person you speak to is misinformed, but only because they are simply trying to survive in this world. Do your own research if you feel you have been misinformed besides blaming someone else for your problem and concerns.

  12. Your not able to at this time. I do however find it weird, I'm not able to disclose much. But someone has petitioned for their partner, and it was actually approved with USCIS. DOES NOT MEAN THEY WAS ISSUED A VISA. But it was approved. Anyone got $500 to play around with?

I'm really sorry to hear this, I think its unfair myself and I work with people in the immigration process. :(

When they do any man from the UK want a green card? LOL ;)

  13. it sounds a little strange that you want to send her to phil to have the child to save money..of course it is possible, are you going with her? if not, wouldnt you want to be there for the birth? it is expensive just for the airfare to the philippines and back for the 3 of you..and how long is she planning on staying? because it would be difficult to travel back to america with a infant..anyway it wouldnt be that hard, but it would be easier if the child is born in the us..no paperwork to fill out at all..

This is when his responsibility ends for her, when she leaves the united states permnantly.

Nothing like helping them on a plane, eh?
