Yeah they actually said in the packet 4 letter we received today to bring the exact difference in US cash to the interview!

Oh I forgot to mention they recalled the first email like it was a mistake or something. So we were waiting on the hard copy appointment letter (packet 4 ) to see what to do?

Then 2 hours later sent this;

The interview appointment is still on 23-JUN-2010 13:00. We will mail an appointment letter to you with information on how to pay for the differential fee.

First they sent this;

If you have already paid the prior USD 131 fee and your interview is after June 03, 2010, you must pay the difference of USD 219 to Scotia Bank and bring all validated receipts totaling USD 350 to the interview.

So far she just did the 156 and 156K cause that's all that was requested in the packet 3 downloaded from the consulate. I know the 160 is the new thing but if it is required shouldn't they ask us to do it in packet 3? Well maybe there will be something about the 160 packet 3 letter. My Gosh it worked!!! They answered the email in 1/2 hour. Our interview is 06/23/2010 at 1PM. We missed you by a little less than a week. SOOOO EXCITED!!! And ya the fee went up for anyone after June 3. Oh well who cares it's a small price for what we get!

We faxed our packet 3 back yesterday and you were right the Woking medical appt is set for the 9th of June. Anxiously waiting for the interview date so we can start to make some real travel plans. Time is really goin fast. Are you and your aunt going to hang out in Van and pick up your visa?

Ya the wait was gruesome. An extra 4 weeks at CSC checking me for security probably because I am a naturalized US citizen I immigrated from Canada 20 yrs ago then NVC sent us to Montreal that cost a couple weeks.. oh well. Nope we didn't book the medical yet or fill out form 156 online yet. Was that easy to do?

I did send the URGENT email to Montreal last nite and when I told the the NVC supervisor that she said if Montreal decides to transfer it that would be OK!? I'm glad to hear the paperwork is going well and that it's not as much of a waiting game.
