  1. A k1 would be denied definitely

we have (I think) the biggest age diffence on here more than 30 years

but we went thru K1 denied

    CR1 spoouse denied

    5 trips to his country

    spending almost a year there

and our 3rd CR1 was approved

I jumped thru hoops to do this adding him to IRS tax returns, bank account using his ITIN from IRS and adding him with quick claim deed to my house (which is scary when the person is not in the US)

they will find out they have to do multilple visits and more than likely marry

the prrofs i did were normal for AOS not visa

  2. Process is

    1. go to US embassy in Casablanca and get paper of eligibility marry and pay $60

    2. Get this and all your documents translated into Arabic (6 copies)

    3. take documents to Office of Foreign minister and get paper from there

    4. go to his home city and there will be interviews with police and judge to apply for marriage license

    Documents you need:

    1. Birth certificate

    2. and divorce papers or death notice of former spouse

    3. criminal investigation report (state internet site will tell you where to get yours) usually good for only 90 days

    4. income statements from employer or IRS transcripts

    5. passport

6, 2 x 2 passport photos (cheaper to get done in Morocco)

    7. if muslim document from Imam to say this

423 260 0096 cell and whatsapp if you have any questions

    Jeanne

  3. you have to file CR1 spouse for husband / it turns to IR1 if married over 2 years

the entire process will take at least a year / normal time is a year

Service center may take 5 months as you said but can be longer and then the NVC stage if you get the documents to them fast takes at least 3 but they need 2 criminal reports from Morocco husband, affiavit of support, application for visa, both fees paid (before doing the affidavit and application), tax returns transcripts from IRS for last 3 years, and any other documents they are short on

after alll this is turned into NVC take (as they say) 30 to 60 days to process and then when approved, goes to embassy

interview will be scheduled by NVC when packet is sent

plan on a year at the least

prepare him well for interview making him aware of everything about your life and family

prepare him by telling him to be confident and serious in interview / no smiling as they have told people "you smile, you lie"

confidence and patience is what he needs

do not argue or fight in this time / encourage each other / try to just speak of good times, love and the future / never take your frustration with this long and heartbreaking process out on each other

    incha allah

    you will suceed

  4. Unforunately getting free bed and/or food even for volunteer work is considered compenstation /same as getting paid

when i volunteered with handicapped in Morocco i paid my own costs, flight, room and board (food) therefore i had no issues / i did all this legally thru the Morocco country site

you will probably be asked about this at interview and have to be honest

you may be lucky and never be asked by CO as your country (i believe) is not considered high fraud

find out if they issued a ban and the very best of luck

  5. Think this is high what till you get to US

    now, let me vent

applicant pays for application, processing fee for affadivit, visa application and cost of visa if granted, plus trips to meet you

i had to apply 3 times and took 6 years and USCIS said i came back right after marriage so i had to go back for honeymoon even thought the marriage trip was 2 months

5 trips, (one lossy lawyer for 2nd application) and all the fees 3 times plus his flight to come to US

    try just over $35000

    thanks for letting me vent

BTW all this i can show

  6. Polygamy and bigamy are illegal in the US, but as the Utah "sister wives" show, it goes on anyway. Essentially they mean the same thing - someone has more than one spouse. More often than not, it's when a man has more than one wife. In some states, the law uses the terms interchangeably. There are some legal differences, though:

this article goes on to say the cast of the show may end up in court over this

  7. it is not wrong to say refile

i appealed my NOID and i won it

court said marriage was bona fide and to refile

the appeal process took over a year and the refile took 2 more

please do not tell Morocco citizens what to do

the embassy is not like yours

    we won the refile

so, anyone wanting to wait for NOIR or NOID waste time

you can refile and when the information comes as to why denied, you have a year to make it right for the new intreview

if you have not been thru casa embassy, you don't know what we go thru

  8. SSNs are also used to file federal income tax returns. If you need to file a federal income tax return, but have not yet obtained a SSN, you can apply for an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). For more information on ITINs,

this allows spouse to add you to IRS returns in the spring / spouse will fill out a W 7 / it can only be applied for at this time

    information is on this site

    https://tingenwilliams.com/2015/can-i-get-a-social-security-number-with-a-fiance-visa/2403

    and at IRS site

  9. No longer using K3

    K1 is for financee only

Cr1 is for anyone married less than 2 years

the wait time after application is sent in is at least a year for the interview / many have gone longer to get one'

you have to wait as we all did / our journey started with K1 application in July 2009 and ended with visa approval in June 2015

it is hard when spouse is from high fraud country

you are going to have to prove your marriage is bona fide and you love this woman

  10. CO may ask if family approves of marriage at the interview / prepare for this expecially if you are not in photos with them

also, all he has to do is say oath to IMAM but he will need document to say he is muslim

Is he in the same country as your parents?

If so, i suggest he goes to your father and gift to your mother and asks for this permission to marry (taking paper of conversion with him)

He needs to convince them he is honest and not visa shopping and using their daughter

incha allah all will be ok

  11. and in the US sometimes when you transfer from state to state you have to start with learner's permit after passing the written test and take a new driving test

    each state is different

most states in the US would have allowed you to drive on the Morocco licence for a month up to a year but you would have had to apply still for the licence in your state

    this is no big deal

what till you start applying for jobs needing all your info / for instance in the US former military personal have to keep all their records and pass them to spouse after death for benefits

a lot of paperwork but this is the US

  12. Since medical care is so expensive here, i asked my husband to be for a medical exam before i promised to marry as TB is very widespread in Morocco

not strange to ask but may be a personal female issue and embarrassing in that culture

tell her a medical is required and you need to make sure she can pass and in the US women keep nothing back / and you feel it is important for her to accept our culture as you will have to know and accept hers

    compromise

    hope this helps

  13. i had to do 3 applications and have kept originals of all

this is the way i was taught and yes, you can print out from USB or CD but if they ever ask for originals from the foreign country, how long does it take to get them and can a relative get the original or would you have to apply for something in person?

i still have IRS tax returns from when i worked my way thru college (for example)
