We got approved Pick up date Dec 30th so he will get a 10 year green card it is after out 2 year anniversary...

Monday Dec 5th my husband returns some papers requested and praying hard for victory and his visa to be granted I want to bring him home before Christmas.....He is all I want for Christmas...

Co at US embassy have let the power go to they head...my husband has to go back on Dec 5th cause they didn't like the paper work approved by NVC and other papers they requested that were sent into NVC they took and placed in my husbands evidence and gave it back to us so they could say it wasn't there so they could hassle him to come back....I was there had a few words with Co and she accepted a couple of the pages acting like it was mistake but it wasn't and we found more of what...

Wait and Pray I guess that is all that can be done, Missng my husband and trying to plan a way to go back and visit...Some time with him is better than none...unti we get an interview and they let him come home with me.

Are you calling NVC around the 15th of the month you need to keep in contact with them I was told to call every month around that time to see if they knew of interview date and to keep in touch with them. Hope this helps I'm also waiting in line for interview.

hi,im new here and new to all this.My fiancee is cameroonian and studies in Malaysia.Can you offer words of experience?Would it be easier to get married there then apply or to just go ahead and apply for the K1.And how does the financial support work.I was told you have to have an income of $28000 per year.I fall like $7,000 short of that.But I do have a family friend who offered to help sponsor.Their income alone covers the $28000.I understand your pain.Im so in love with this...

Welcome to VJ keep your time line updated it will help you and other also.. to help you as well. We are all here to support each other here as much as we can. I'm also a CR-1 waiting on case closed at NVC to get in line for interview...hope it will be in the next 2 weeks...

Called them today after sending them new Police certificate...they said should hear something in 20 days...that sucks... they lost the first one so I told them to look for it while I sent a new one.... Good thing I was in Ghana and brought it back with me... Just want this to be case closed and so we can get an interview scheduled or at least in the line for it.

I'm not receiving this attitude from you. You will do what you need to do and your husband will be home the same time my husband comes home. I know you are frustrated as I would be if this was happening to me - but, you know what must be done and I know you will do it. Your love is much stronger than anything man can throw at you. Hold your head up high and do what you got to do. Be sure you speak with a supervisor at the NVC and demand an answer while you are in the process of trying to ...

Thanks called NVC asap but they only put the case under review for 10 days to see what they might find out...in the mean time being in Ghana my husband and I went to get a new one he supposed to pick it up on Monday cause I'm leaving Ghana on tuesday so I will mail it to NVC on Wednesday...keeping my head up is the hard part but thanks...I really needed the encouragement...and support...
