Sweet that is on May 3rd. When is your man coming to the U.S.?

I have heard it takes as long as 2 weeks to get it back. You will purchase an ExpressPost envelope with a tracking number (that you need to make sure you write down) then you can track its progress "sort of" once it leaves the mailroom in Montreal.

Someone said that you may have had experience in having your K-1 visa approved but that your fiance' came to visit without activating it, then returned to Canada, then moved some time later. Is this the case and how were you able to work this out?

No interview yet, they logged our file on March 1st so now I am waiting for my fiance's interview date.

How did your interview go?

So are you approved? On the timeline it says updated 3-3-10, but then the check mark says "approved" with an interview date of 3-9-10. Hope to hear good news!

Just called the DOS again today. Montreal has received my fiance's packet 3 as of March 1 (I know it was delivered on Feb. 19 so that means it took them 10 days to open the mail which is good). Now the wait for the interview date...

Just called DOS. Packet 3 is not in the computer yet I will call again next Friday. It takes about 4 minutes just to listen to all the required information before you can press 0 to talk to a human. Then it took about a minute for the person to tell me what I needed to know.

Glad to know your packet 3 is on the way. I still can't believe it took from Feb. 3 to Feb. 12 for my fiance' to receive his. Hopefully you will get yours faster.

Any news on an interview date?

My fiance' doesn't have an interview date back. He just returned his packet 3 this last week. If you check out the Canada regional forum there is a list of other April interviews. I think there are 3 others, none others on April 7 though.

Packet 3 was successfully delivered to Montreal today! Yeah, one step closer! Have you gotten your packet 3 yet?

Have you gotten your NOA1? That would put a possible time frame for your approval of your petition at the California Service Center. Also, Montreal would be your consulate if you are located in Toronto for your interview.

No you don't mail the police checks in. You check off that you "have" them on the checklist in packet 3 then take them to the interview. I would definitely get the ball rolling on them.

My fiance' had packet 3 in his mailbox when he got home so it either arrived Feb. 12 or Feb. 13. Tomorrow he is mailing back the required forms and checklist. So far, so good.

Called DOS today and they told me Ron's packet 3 was mailed on FEB. 3. Where it is, nobody knows! At least I can fill out forms without concern for them being done before Montreal expects them. Congrats on John's packet 3.

If you fill out your timeline and give a bit more information about your location and your fiance'/fiancee's location there are people here who can help you. Did you apply to Vermont or California?

Miracles indeed! I am praying my fiance' gets packet 3 today before he comes down to visit me for Valentine's Day. No good new yet.
