  1. Here comes me again with my silly questions. We have been approved today for our I-130 and I-129F and sure will be going through the CR-1. What are the first steps or procedures for us to be taking? I mean what are we suppose to be doing at this stage?

  2. USCIS is still forwarding the approved I 129f petitions over to the NVC, ..... It is the NVC which will close an I 129 f if the I 130 for the same beneficiary is approved alongwith or before the I 129f. It will not apply in yr case though cause it seems yr I 130 is still under process at the USCIS.

Since we just got approved, can we still follow the K3?

  3. Do you have the alerts? What happened with our's is I saw the one and only touch in the morning on Monday and then Monday night got an email saying we were approved. Then I logged back into USCIS and it showed the status had changed from "Initial Review" to "Post-Decision Activity" but in the morning it had still been "Initial Review". It was about 8:00pm my time when I got the email. Good luck!

Telling y'all that I got emails saying our I-130 and I-129F has been approved. They are approved, can't be calmed with these joy inside me..lol

The second touch doesn't mean approval. I saw someone say they were touched 7 times before they got approved. Mine was touched on the second and fourth of Feb, and we still haven't received any news about our NOA2.

You shouldn't worry of anything. You will be getting you NOA2 in no time. If we will finally be approved, then everybody here will. Believe it.

  5. I'm confused about your filing....you filed an I 130 (spousal) Oct 19th but also a petition for a fiance Oct 21st. You are either married or you want to get married. You can't be married then file for your fiance visa. Am I missing something??

Thanks all for your wishes. Our petition was suppose to be a K3 but will be CR-1 instead.

  8. Looks a little confusing here. My spouse was trying to fill the DS-3032 and he got confused.

Well, who is suppose to be the beneficiary and petitioner in this case? We are thinking of emailing the DS-3032 instead of mailing. Has anybody tried it?

If we are to email them the DS-3032, can we also email the affidavit, W2 etc as well?

    Thanks.

  9. Both the petitioner and the beneficiary's email must be given to NVC.

AOS packet: I864, I1864A (if needed), tax returns, W2, Employment letter, pay stubs, bank account statements (if assets are being used).

DS230: DS230 form, original PCC, original marriage certificate, original birth certificate, 2 passport size pictures.

Check the guides/wikis for a complete thorough list.

Proof of bonafide must be provided at the interview stage.

Are we suppose to be sending original documents or copy? Shouldn't we be including joint assets or bonafide during those stages? Or they have to be at the interview alone? I thought we will be sending them proof of ongoing relationship, police certificate, marriage bonafide documents, beneficiary passport, birth certificate etc. I'm confused.

  10. Here's Christeen's time tested formula for NVC:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

What documents are you talking about? Evidence of bonafide marriage among? can you tell us what the documents which you mailed off are? Who's email address should be used? should it be that of the petitioner or beneficiary?

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay and wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

    Thanks.
