i dont know if someone can answer my questions.

Im thinking of moving back to Canada, but I have a car loan, credit card debts and a personnal loan in the US.

i know I have to pay the car off if I want to register it in Canada (for the title)

What do I do about the other debts?  Should I take a loan in Canada to pay off the US creditors and make payments on the loan in Canada?

I wouldn't lie about my journey or my timeline.  You assumptions are offensive.

My USCIS office is St Albans in Vermont, I can't imagine them being very busy with  naturalisation cases.  I'm assuming thats why it went so quickly.

I filed january 28th. Did my biometrics a couple weeks ago and this morning I was put in line for interview and this afternoon it updated to interview scheduled... is that common?

I just did my biometrics for citizenship and I realised there was a typo error in my second name on my green card.  Instead of Germaine its written Germanie.

Should I file an e-request for typographic error with USCIS or wait until interview and ask them to change it?

Nothing at all. The website didn't even update my case yet.

So the website still says "your case was received at your local office" BUT I got a huge surprise in the mail today!

I was approved!!! It says I should receive my card within 60 days.

Date of decision is 09/14/2015

My case was transfered to CSC on 08-19...

I got my biometrics appt

How long should we expect to wait for biometrics appt?

Is the petitioner listed as your spouse?

I mailed my packet on the 4th and received my NOA today. Receipt date is 2/5/15.

I have a question though, the letter was addressed to my husband and it has me listed as the petitioner. Is this correct? Can anyone share how their NOA is please? Thanks!

Hi carry, what is the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? You need that date for the list (not letter received date)

I mailed my I-751to VSC on 02/03, my check was cashed on 02/06 and I got my NOA1 today 02/07.

Hopefully, the rest of the process goes quickly.

I can't say, but i think Ms Hogan had her passport shipped to a location near Toronto (or in Ontario anyway) and she got it fairly quickly. You should look at her timeline.

If you have your passport shipped with loomis to the Dorval location, near Montreal, it shouldn't take too long to get there. I'd say 2 days maximum... That's without an expedite.

My visa was issued the same day as my interview and it was shipped the next day. It took a little while for me to get it since i didn't live anywhere near a loomis location.

It was our choice

We had our interview today in Montreal.

We were done by 8:35h.

The interviewer lady asked 3 questions and she said congratulations, you are approved. Welcome to the US.

She asked my husband how we met ( weird because he's the petionner)

She asked if it was our 1st marriage

And finally if i had lived outside of Canada at any point.

A lot of people were turned around at the door because they had cell phones and bags. So for the people waiting for an interview, leave everything in your hotel room or your car and bring only your paperwork. Good luck!

I went to the SQ police station in my town ( i live in Quebec). Also took like 10 minutes... But i didn't need fingerprinting.
