ROC approved!!!!

6 months and still waiting....

Biometrics done...Stamp put in passport as our GC expired last month...so no we wait.

One week until Biometrics appointment for ROC...hoping they will put the stamp in our passports at the same time as daughter needs that for her temps...I will be glad when this process is over!

Hi Meggy -- Just dropping in as I start the ROC process...how is life in Boardman??

It's been a very busy year -- promoted at work and retired from work due to medical issues..now a business owner and enjoying the good life with my husband and daughter....Now to start the ROC process *sigh* I cant wait for this to be over with!

Blissfulyl happy...Promotion at work...Bek happily starting high school in a couple of weeks...and a loving group of friends and family surrounding us. Life is FANTABULOUS!!!!

I know what you mean!!! We celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday so it is kind of surreal to think 14 months ago I had just stepped off the plane!

Life is great here and we survived the winter -- our first time ever with snow LOL! I have found that I suffer hayfever here which I never did in Australia...different hemisphere with different pollens I guess.

Things are going well here.. I have been working for the last 6 months. Nothing major but something that stops me from going insane. Made a few friends which helps but still no 'close friend' if that makes sense.

Hey Kathleen, The interview we went up to Cleveland for was a joke. I had rescheduled the interview using their website..so we go up to Cleveland with all our evidence, get there to be told that the appointment I made was only for information despite what the website said *GRRRRRRR* So we still interview on the 23rd September.

Hi John & Sarah -- I applied for my SSN 5 days after I arrived -- purely because we needed to have it done for my daughter to enrol in school. We took a gamble that our details would be in the system that quickly. Glad that you are together here in the USA now Makes life so much better when we are with the ones we love.

Ohio is great!! The weather is getting more beautiful every day. We are in Ravenna which is about 30 minutes from Boardman.

Once you get to interview it goes so quickly..I am still stunned that 4 weeks ago I was still in AUS and now I am here

ZI am sorry to hear you hit a snag in the process. If you click this link there is a very detailed thread on what is needed on the AUS end from P3 right through to Interview. The girls are lovely & extremely friendly.

Congrats on NOA2 and sending P3 back. I had my medical done prior to Packet 3. That meant I was able to send everything back in one package. I sent in everything they asked for in P3 and at interview I took the additional evidence as they ask for BUT they didnt look at it...It may also be that Eric has mailed in evidence in the original petition.
