I was born in U.S. and my family moved to DR when I was 13. We met and got into a relationship when I was 15 (she was 13). It was young love and after highschool we got distant. I came back to U.S. for college and we kept in touch a bit. After being in a few relationships here in U.S. I realized that I was not happy and decided to contact her to see what she was up to. We started talking, remembering the past and realized that we never stopped loving eachother, that the distance and youth had worked against us in the past.
