Okay so I dont need to wait for the greencard or submit any N-600? Should I bring my certificate when I get his passport?

good day everyone! I just have a query.. I petitioned my son (minor-10yrs old) and now living with me here in the US.( just arrived Aug 7th) Im a naturalized USC before I petitioned him Im just wondering if he can acquire my citizenship, If so? what is the process or steps I need to follow? any forms I need to submit again to USCIS? and fee? I already received his SS # in the mail, but still waiting for his Greeencard.

on my interview when asked to sign my docs at first i signed with my usual signature then officer told me "nope" not that so i signed again with my full name including middle name.. So now im kinda' confused of that.. Coz i also read " If you previously signed the photograph that is mounted to your Certificate of Naturalization, then sign your certificate using the exact same signature you used to sign your photograph, even if that signature does not match the full name shown on your certificate. "

Yah i signed it same in d picture that is mounted in mu cert.. so this means i dont need to worry!?

Ok. so after I got my cert. we didnt signed it in front of the officer, but didnt tell us the right way of signing it.. But i do read "signed with true name" im caught bet signing just my regular signature @ my whole name so i still signed it with my regular signature. Same as the signature on my photo attached to my cert..

However im browsing uscis homepage "what to so after oath taking" it says there " You need to sign the certificate with your name exactly as it appears on the certificate. Dont use the same abbreviated signature you use to sign checks, letters, or credit-card slips. For example, if the name on the certificate appears as John James Doe, then sign exactly like that "John James Doe." Even if you sign your name as John Doe or J. Doe or J.J. Doe, dont sign it that way. To repeat, sign your name exactly as it appears on your Certificate of Naturalization. If you previously signed the photograph that is mounted to your Certificate of Naturalization, then sign your certificate using the exact same signature you used to sign your photograph, even if that signature does not match the full name shown on your certificate. "

I need help now.. Should i erase and sign my cert again or just sign it again w/o erasing d way i signed it first. ?

One more question about signing that cert.. I just read it now that u should sign it with ur whole name.. I signed just with my regular signature... so im kinda' sad now i that's gonna be a problem.. My cert has picture and has signature too.. so help should i erase or just signed again w/0 erasing.. ?

Finally done with my immigration journey.. ? took oath March 14.. 800 people including me was so relieved & happy finally we are US citizen... ? Now to petition my family esp my son. ?

I passed my Naturalization test today... Thank God... but got an RFE officer wont accept my hubby's approval letter that he is US citizen since 2006 thru his father... it was issued to them in Manila,Philippines (US Embassy). the officer said it was a mistake that they didnt tell hubby to file for N-600 if he arrive here in US right away. We didnt know either coz we just used that letter since our K-1 journey n no problem at all... Now we need to fike for N-600 to request Nat.certificate... We're hoping it will be fast so it will not delay my oath taking... help us pray...

i filed my N-400 october 23,2013 (Phoenix-Az)... and got receipt letter october 25... Im trying to add my case to uscis case status but it sez there that the receipt # is invalid... are they going to send me another noA with my correct NBC #'!? and how long will i take to have biometrics schedule? thanks guys and goodluck to everyone!

hi good day to all, I just have a question regarding on filing for citizenship... I came here with K1visa... I just want to know when can I file for citizenship!? what anniversary to follow!? is it d anniversary of our 3rd yr marriage (May 2010) or the anniversarry I received my GC ( Nov.2010). Im just a lil' bit confused.. ?

FINALLY received approval notice...I'm updating my timeline and reminding everyone to do the same. Thinking about how important this info has been for all of us. Hope I'm doing it accurately as below....

Yay got my card now... =)

i called USCIS last monday and made service request... told them im keaving 23rd for vacation in my country, n I need my GC =) ..got email june7 that they ordered my card ... and yesterday got an update again that UPS will deliver my card on the 13th... my worries r all gone now,ive waited 2months since approval.

My status has been changed 5 minutes ago

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on June 11, 2013.

Yay... me too... expected delivery on the 13th... =)
