  1. thank you so much for the reply rosie and david, but the medical is not about me, its all about my daughter, we had both our medical last september 25 but my daughter has a scar on her lungs so the doctor in st. lukes adviced us to come back on november 25 for a follow up x-ray only if the scar had been already erased. Is it possible for the st. lukes to sched us on november 26,2009 for her interview in the embassy.
  2. hello everyone. does anyone here also has a derivative. i mean applying for a K1 visa with a K2 visa as a derivative. I pass the medical in st. lukes manila, philippines but my daughter did not because there is a scar found on her x-ray. she needs to go back on november 25 for second x-ray. I will be having an interview this october 6, 2009 in embassy manila philippines. my questions are: do i need to bring my daughter during the interview?, do i still bring her documents and submit it together with mine? do i also need to pay the visa fees for my daughter? please whoever has an experience like mine, please share to me too. i need all brilliant advices guys.
  3. i will be attending my interview at us embassy manila this october 6,2009.

Which country are you attending your interview in? Being from the UK i wasn't required to take my son for the interview so had no need to schedule one for him alone! At the Embassy no information regarding the medical was shared the staff there go by the medical examiners results (pass/fail).

The only documentation regarding my son for the interview was his passport/birth certificate/fathers consent and passport photos! (i'd have to refer to the document list to see if there was anything else..lol)

  4. thanks a million selina for sharing your experiences with me, it reliefs my confusion, my k1 application is for USA. Would you not mind if you could give me a detail what you do before the interview even your son is lacking in medical results. me and fiance are planning to bring my daughter along with me when i come to the us. hopefully if there is nothing wrong with the x-ray of my daughter on november 25, shall i still go back for an interview for my daughter only? please give the details of what happened to yours,,,, i find a light in you. please i need your advice.. thanks allot.

I had similar problems with my sons medical (awaiting further documentation from his doc at the hospital) I didn't take my son to the interview with me, i took all his documentation that was needed along with mine and submitted it as required, we were accepted (pending medical pass) i payed BOTH visa fees. Then when all the info was through from the docs i sent it all down to Knightsbridge (i'm guessing you're in the UK?) The doc there then automatically sends all the medical info over to the embassy, our visa's arrived several days later.

I'd go to your interview as prepared as possible, and take it from there.

    Good luck

    Selina.
