Congratulations to all of you that got out today from AP. The waiting pain is over... huh

This probably will be one of my ending posts here on this topic regarding the subject of being in AP. I say this because , as i knew it from last week, I'm officially out from AP.
Based on my experience with this unpleasant waiting period, i would like to make known for all those that are still in AP, that this topic is GREAT and my suggestion is "READ everything here".
Many posts that I've posted had a high accuracy, and i would recommend to learn from them. I put time and effort to make them easy to be understood, but also to benefit people that are still in AP by not wasting they time finding an answer.
With one thing i was wrong, I predicted that i will be out from AP tomorrow (Tuesday) but it happened today.
I would like also to thank you for all the people that give me they support, as i would not be able to get my self mentally prepared without them. I love them for they great mind and i wish them all the best!
P.S. I'm tracking my package from minute 1 of being out from AP!
I am only seeing a few under correspondence.. and most are Nicaragua.. what ref did you used.. I saw none in any EXP.
Today works the following keywords:
EXP 02 OCT 2009A
EXP 02 OCT 2009B
EXP 02 OCT 2009C
CORRESPONDENCE is bogus.

DHL posted the shipments info for today. Again like Friday, a lot of packages there.. Good luck everyone!

Good morning all.
Boghy, looks like today is day 40 for you. Really this week should be your week. Based on what happened this past Friday, I think they push to have alot of these done by Fridays. If this Friday comes and goes without your being released, you need to get on the horn to your Congressman. I can't say for certain it helped me, but it was definitely registered in their system as being received on Monday Sep 28th...and then I was out on Friday. But really I hope today or tomorrow is it for you.

I didn't had the time to call NVC today, but i do know that tomorrow will be my day out from AP. I'm very confident about it.

I am not clear about some of what has been posted - I have called and called and all the NVC supervisors tell me is we are undergoing additional processing and I can call as often as I want.
If I am reading this correctly, it's all about HOW I call that determines if we stay in AP? Have I misunderstood?
Yes you did ..
, but you MAY get some additional information only from sups and only if your case is, let's average around, at the end of the 5 working days in AP.If you look closer many of us got the clues ONLY in that timeframe of 5 days. So let's say your case is above that 5 days they most likely give you that generic answer, otherwise you'll be pushed to call back on the day that they mention, also that day will be your day out from AP. Few people confirm this already.

Sorry to hear that, but that means will take a while. I got my first clue from a supervisor, after going through other supervisors on daily basis. Also today, one of the regular rep said - like never before - "Yes you are still in AP, but your case seams to be towards the ending process, call us back Friday.", now of course she didn't knew that i talked with the supervisor a day before and her version was "If, they won't tell you Tuesday anything, (meaning the reps) escalate the call. Then i asked: Do i have to escalate my call to someone particular?. she said No, anyone from management staff should be able to give you more details about your case Tuesday. " That's how i got my clue.
Same thing happened with Mazy
Ask for Supervisor Lila!! I talked to her on a Wednesday, told me call Friday , and I did, I was out of AP!!!! 2 days.
That just makes my point of observation more accurate, when i've mention about getting a day from any NVC supervisor.

STUCK @ NVC for AP its been 3 months since my NOA2....
What? 3 months, you could of completed NVC with your CR1. You might want to consider doing that, I was in AP with K3 for 37 days, while in AP I completed my CR-1 at NVC in 28 days, both cases were completed the same day!! Plus I have a interview date for the CR-1 already, AND no word from embassy on the K3 yet for packet 3.
Think about it, and follow CR1, AP has not time limits being stuck in hell.
Isnt the CR1 for couples that havent been married for 2 yrs yet? my lawyer said that wouldnt work for me...
BS!!!!! A CR1 is a conditional visa married under 2 years. A IR1 is a married visa over 2 years. YOU qualify cause YOUR married.
Did lawyer tell you to do a K3? If so, only reason so you put more money in his pockets for the AOS .
I married my hubby in Feb. and we finish NVC with a CR1 path. Your married , your qualified for CR1 or IR1!!!!!!!
Follow your I130 thru NVC dont wait for K3 PM me if you want to talk more. Stupid lieing lawyer!!!!!!
Some lawyers are like that. Other not so much, but usually expansive. If you don't trust them (like me), spending few hours on internet, can give you same results if not better then any lawyer UNLESS you are dealing with some waiver for USCIS - but usually that's hard to obtain even through a lawyer.
P.S. someone post in this topic that, the lawyer told them that the AP process takes "normally" 3-4 months. If i would be the client of that lawyer... oh boy...

"I'm really sorry but the only information that we can provide you is that your case is in AP and that there is no time frame regarding this process, You will be notified when this process is complete."
Same word for word from the intial csr as was provided by the supervisor that followed....
has anyone actually been 'notified' that the case has been sent to the consulate?
The supervisor actually got loud with me and was kind of pissy.. I apologized if I upset her by calling, but I just wanted to know why I was having o wait while others were being sent to our consulate almost every day. Then she apologized saying that they just got the file last month... I dont care if they just got it yesterday.. I was just looking for some valid info...

OMG, I saw one to Panama City, but didn't want to get excited..but I called ..AND IT"S MINE! I AM FREE!!!!!!!! Really, I am a man, but I have tears in my eyes right now!

Like i said in one of my post, DHL is a good source of getting clues. If you are in AP and you aren't out yet, keep an eye on DHL every day Monday-Friday from 3PM EST.
Let's hope that all keywords are the one that we already know, but bear in mind, there may be more keywords. We just don't know about them... YET.

I think they start getting backfires from our complains. The amount of mail shipped today is more then normal, in my opinion.

I called NVC just now and they said my package was shipped yesterday with DHL. They would not tell me a tracking number. The reference code we've been using doesn't seem to work now. If anyone knows the new reference code, please tell me. I've tried EXP 01 OCT 2009A (also with B, C and D) It says there are no shipments with those reference numbers.
Then we know something for fact that are MORE reference keywords then those that we knew already which are "CORRESPONDENCE" , "EXP 30 SEP 2009A", "EXP 30 SEP 2009B" and "EXP 30 SEP 2009C".
The challenge will be to find them one way or another.

this doesn't make sense... really I think I'm going to lose it if they've lied to me again. anyone know why there are no packages going through DHL on October 1? If anyone knows anything about this, please help. This is a nightmare roller coaster from hell. It's like they enjoy torturing you. First they tell you your petition is going, then they say it's in AP, then they say they can't tell you anything, then they tell you again, it's going, now there is no shipment. #######???!!!!
NVC DOES somewhat they say, they do send it to embassy the day its out of AP but NOT DHL. They email it to embassy, then a few days later or a week, they send the hardcopy out DHL to the embassy. Paris embassy confirmed this to me, and the Department of State!!!
Thank you Paris Heart. I'll try to keep that hope then. But Mazy saw hers in DHL within one day, and I think some others here said the same thing. I don't know why this whole process has to be so convoluted and shrouded in mystery. If we were suspicious characters, then ok. I'm trying to keep hoping. I'm sure some day our petition will be approved and finished, because we are good, honest people, but this process is really like torture. Each time I think we are closer, it seems we move back to knowing nothing and just languishing in this maze of bureaucracy. Thank you and God bless you. Ciao.

I think that you need to wait until tonight and check again. I think that they send them out at different times and it may get dumped into a big batch of DHL packages waiting to be processed. I don't think that when they say it's going out today that it means that it leaves at that moment.
Do this:
1 Call them again to see if you get an answer like "Was shipped yesterday to your consular section". IF you get that answer we know for fact that are more keywords in use then the one that we already know which is A B C and correspondence.
2 Call them again then IF they tell you that wasn't shipped yet but is out from AP, the we are on the good track with DHL.
Let's learn something from our actions, so we can make it easy for others in AP.
good idea boghy... btw, of course i didnt expect that moment but i called in the morning and was told it would definitely go out that day, so i expected that day. today is the next day, and still no package to Naples. others here who are told "today" always seem to see their package shipment very quickly. I just don't trust anything they say now. I think they get some pleasure in tormenting us.
or who knows? maybe they looked at the wrong document. all i can see is, there is no shipment through DHL for October 1, and those codes for DHL registration always worked before.
Yes, BUT you NEED to call them TODAY (Friday) so we can all know if those codes are all of them, or are more to that.

It's good advice. When we started this thread the end of last year hardly any K1's were ever in AP. We didn't know what the heck was going on, and they would not say what was going on, so we were a pretty stressed out little group. We didn't know at that stage if we were looking at denial down the track.
Anything we found out, or stumbled over, or ever managed to get out of the phone drones at NVC..well it's posted in this thread. I know it's a lot of reading..but I still think it's a useful resource.
Looking at the today's economy, i would say that they lost some workforce in the NVC. Of course that's classified information..

Like Crazymazy recommended, in one of her posts, webmaster(s) of visajourney.com should begin gathering the puzzled information together and create a basic guideline based on the subject of being stuck in AP at NVC. Requires some work, but for the better traffic, the info on this subject is already spread on this topic.

Oh come on now missy.. after all of the ####### they put you through already they are doing this too
... Its a waiting game here.. about a week or a month... folks got out of AP today that had been here for just over a week and just over a month... so sit back and enjoy more of what you are good at dealing with.. waiting... (BTW sorry that you and Lars had to go through so much Sh!t so at USCIS)U R right. The AP is an waiting game. Probably if i would be an fishermen i would have to be patient, but being in IT field, that's far away from my plate.

If there is a deportation order in "progress", YOU SHOULD SPEED ALL YOUR MONEY TO PAY AN ATTORNEY TO STOP THIS!!!... while you are in USA. IF there was already an ORDER issued... oh boy... YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE!
One of may neighbor, ignored the process of deportation and now he is banned for five years, after 11 years in the country!
