My fiance walked in with her case letter, they let her do it without an appointment. If you want her interview to be shortly after, call now. They are booking up on the interviews.

She passed her medical yesterday.

Thanks for the information. I am glad that she can just walk in for the medical. She has interview scheduled for Jan 28th. Just trying to finish up with the rest. She was informed she can pick up the Japan police clearance on Jan 4th, Then she will do CFO on Jan 5th, Then the next 2 days will be medicals then wait for the interivew on the 28th.

Is an appoinment needed for medicals or is it first come/ first served walk in only!

She is planning on doing her medical on Jan 6th and 7th. Help please!

Any American/Filipino couples residing in Lafayette,La or the surrounding area. Would like to meet new friends once my future wife is here. She will be interviewing Jan 28th,2010, Once she passes interview I will be making arrangements for her to travel to U.S. It would be nice if she was able to make new friends in our area that are from the Philippines.

They'll tell you you will have the clearance for 45-3 months but usually it gets there 1 1/2 months after. I got mine in a month. I scheduled my interview right after I had my Japan Police clearance. My other friend went to the interview without the clearance, she was given a white slip because of that. When she received her clearance, she submitted it personally and then a week after that, she got her visa.

Ok, So I can either wait until she has her Japan Police clearance and schedule the interview or I figured to maybe make it for 1st week of February which will give her time to complete everything else and that will be almost 2 1/2 months passed since we submitted for the police clearance.

I want her to do the medical exam also but was just unsure how long it will be good for if it is done to far in advance while waiting for the Japan police clearance.

We received the letter from U.S Embassy in Manila on Oct 24th that we can schedule the interview but make sure we have all the documents needed. On Nov 9th we went to the Japan Embassy in Manila and submitted for her police clearance which they stated could take 45 days to 3 months. I am unsure as to when do we need to make her interview appointment. Do we wait until she has her Japan Police Clearance or do we call and make appointment for about 3 months from now? I am just unsure how long we need to wait before trying to make interview appointment. I dont know what to do!

She is going to driving school now and once finished will apply for her NBI clearance and certificate of singleness.

This leaves the CFO class and medical which because of my ? above leaves me wondering when she should do this.

I know they have all our info because we had to get letter from them stating they needed the Japan Police Clearance from the Japan Embassy.

Please send advice and help!
