i have just gathered all the documents i need as evidence for my appointment ,i have over 200 emails, 50 pictures ,,western union receipts ,cards ,snail mail ,phone bills ,pages of our wedding website .Do you think with out the chat logs all that i have will be enough ?thanks .

You should not submit any e-mail where you refer to each other as husband and wife (double and triple check anything you plan to submit).

Sure you can block it out, but I think any person who reads it could use context clues to figure out what you blocked out. Its up to you, but if you submit those e-mails you need to make sure you and you fiance can handle the potential consequences (denial of K1, many more months of separation, cost of traveling to her country and getting married there, reapplying for spousal visa). Or you could NOT submitt them and then you don't have to worry about those things.

what if i edit that parts of the email will it be notice ?

Hi everyone my fiance sometimes when she emails me at the end she writes (YOUR WIFEE ) but we are not married yet ,will that be a problem when i submits those types of emails as my bonifide documents ,my interview is close please advice me thanks .

nandr, you need to give us more information before we can advise you. What documents has your fiancee sent you for the interview? Has she sent the I-134 form (Affidavit of Support) completed? Has she sent you copies of past tax transcripts or tax returns along with the W-2 or just one W-2? Have you been asked to provide any additional documents by the Consulate already?

yes i have the I-134 ,the letter from her work the letter from the bank her weekly pay and the the 2006 -2007-2008 W-2s well the embassy said they need a copy of my fiance tax return ,so thats the reason why she sent me the W-2s .

I believe i have everything that needs to prove that i have ongoing relationship with my fiance but we lost the receipt for the hotel during her visit to Ghana will that be a problem ?

As long as you have other evidence, one little hotel reciept shouldn't matter.

I just receive the tax return i needed for my appointment from my fiance but on the bottom of it w -2 was written on it ,all i want to now is will that be accepted anyone with any experience please tell me if what i have is whats required thanks .

I know i am not suppose to sign the the visa forms until my appointment day do i fill in the date on the forms before my appointment or i will sign and fill in the date on the apointment day your advice is needed thanks .

hi good people i need a little help on this visa forms that i am about to fill again, when i was filling it the first time there was a space where i can type my address but the form wont alow me to and i have like three letters left to complet the address so i wrote in with a black pen to complete the address in same letters ,all i want to know is will it be accepted or rejected any one with some experience on this please coment and any advice will be welcomed thanks .

That is the one thing that I found true first hand when I went Ghana. We had to pay "I can help you" money for our already paid for wedding pictures.

My husband paid over $100 for his police report and that was mostly "I can help you" money...

That is how things are at times.

We just had to do what we needed to do...my husband told me that was even the negotiated price.

...but thank God that we are now waiting for our interview date....

Hello, I would like to know if you can help me... I posted a comment but have not had any help yet...it appears that you ahve just gone through sending the DS-230. We just paid the bill but now need to knwo what to send to the NVC. Is it just the DS-230 form or the birth cert/police cert, marriage cert/ etc? Please help. I We don't have the cert yet & I thought the NVC already has our marraige cert with firdst sendign the packet...any help will be greatly appreciated. God Bless you.

i only did K-1 dont now much about CR-1 you call the embassy for all your questions thats what i do sometimes this is their number 021741100 call them from 3pm to 4pm they pick up my calls all the time and i hope they will pick up yours good luck .

Help me fill out this part of DS -230 form question (23)it says, list all the educational institutions attended? .this is what i filled in (bama top tech institute -from 12-2003 to 01-2005 ,courses of study ?networking . degree or diploma ?none )

did i fill it right? or i have to fill in all the primary and secondary schools i attended and what will i fill in the degree and diploma section cause primary and secondary schools do not have degree or diploma any help will be greatly appreciated .

after dating my fiance for 3 months i invited her to come to my country but weeks before she came i asked her to marry me on the phone i felt it was the right moment and to show her how serious i am about her which was great cause both of us felt the timing was great ,when she finally came to ghana i had the opportunity to ask her again to marry me and took a vow to be faithful with each other but i didnt give her a wedding ring cause the wedding ring she wants was expensive and she knows i cant afford so she didnt bother much about me not being able to buy that type of ring for her ,she told me that is the only expensive thing she could ever want from me and nothing more and she is a good woman she deserves it......ok now here is the catch i will be going for an interview soon ..what if the CO ask me when did i get engaged to my fiance ?will it be in my favor to say on the phone or to say while she was in my country .fellow friends i know you have some experience to shear help me make the right decision on what to say that wont make the CO ask me alot of questions on that .
