    How long does it take for a civil surgeon .......

    You dont have a full medical exam for AOS.

    The K-1 medical is good for 1 year. All you need done by the civil surgeon is to have your vaccinations copied to the 693 vaccination portion. It only takes them about 30 mins to fill it out sign stamp date and seal it.

    It will be great to have it on the same day,But dont now if this will be a problem, because, i didn't complete my vaccination back in Ghana.But i hope i have the result same cause i have an interview coming soon, and i don't want any RFE.

    I really dont like that people dont check their facts before posting stuff here, the increment for AOS will be $55 more and not $700 that is from $930 to

    I GOT TO THE AMERICAN EMBASSY ON MY SECOND INTERVIEW AT 1:30 PM APPOINTMENT WAITED TILL 5PM AND MY NAME WAS CALLED WHEN I GOT TO THE COUNTER THIS NICE GHANAIAN GUY TOLD ME THEY HAVE CLOSED FOR THE DAY IT WAS 5:00PM SO HE GAVE ME A NEW DATE WHICH WAS NEXT DAY WHEN I GOT TO THE EMBASSY THE NEXT DAY I WAS THE SECOND PERSON TO BE CALLED NO QUESTIONS WAS ASK THE CO JUST LOOK THROUGH THE DOCUMENT HE ASK ME TO PROVIDE THEN HE TOOK THE APPROVAL SLEEP WHICH WAS BLUE AND TOLD ME NOT TO MAKE ANY TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS TILL I RECEIVE THE VISA IN HAND .I WAS HAPPY AND GAVE HIM A SMILE AND SAID THANKS ...WELL GOOD PEOPLE I PICKUP MY VISA THIS MORNING AND IT TOOK ME 10 MONTHS FROM THE DAY WE FILE THE PETITION TO COMPLETE THIS JOURNEY ...IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS TO ASK I WILL BE READY TO ANSWER WITH THE LITTLE EXPERIENCE I GAIN THROUGHOUT THIS JOURNEY ..I EVEN MEET A VJ MEMBER AT THE EMBASSY THANK YOU ALL . :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

    My husband picked up his visa this morning in Accra!!!! We are so excited!!!!! It took 17 months and 1 day since we sent our paperwork. Have faith people...it's a very long and hard process but worth the wait!!!! I can't wait to see my husband!!!

    hi everyone i just came back from my interview all the CO aske me was

    1,where did you meet your fiance?

    2,when did you meet ?

    3,who does she leave with?

    5,when did you meet -again ?

    6,where did you meet -again ?

    7,how did you stared with her ?

    ans-we met online on a social networking website on the 24 of december 2008 last year .

    8,CO-doesnt she have anything to do on christmas eve ?

    ans- i dont know .i smiled and he smiled back .he then went through my phone records

    9,CO-is 305 her area code ?

    ans- no she she has a 386 area code

    CO-well her number doesnt appear on the phone bill

    ans- i always use magic jack to call her so it show the majic jack number which has a 305 area code

    10,CO-do you always communicate through email alone?

    ans-no

    he then glance through my emails

    11,CO-do you always talk about visa ?

    ans-no we talk about others things more than just a visa .

    then typed on the computer ,he always type something each time he asks me a question.

    ans-i dont know

    he then said well mikes........name appears on her addresss then he tuned around talk to his co worker and then told me to have a sit and wait.after 10 munits he called out my name and said to me all we need right now is for you to go and find out who is mike..... and let us now the reason why his name appears on her address ?he then gave me a white sleep of paper to return in january and dont forget to bring your passport thats what he said last i then asked him do you need anything more he said no thats all we need,i said thank you and left.

    SO now whats next do you think is a good sign that i will get approve and what will i do now since my fiance used her cousins name to rent the apartment .what document do i need to present ,any advice will be appreciated thanks .

    But, Who is mike?

    Is the Mike the cousin who rented the place for your fiancee? Considering that address issues keep coming up with the Ghana Embassy as of late, it might be a good idea for your fiancee to write a letter explaining that her cousin (Mike?????) rented the apartment for her. I would also ask Mike to corroborate her story by writing his own. I think that having the cousin's letter (and the fiancee's) is a good combination considering that she is not on the lease.

    No Mike is the owner of the property her cousin she is a female my fiancee move into her apartment with her son . till the end of her lease because her cousin was moving and the utilities and rent is being paid by my fiancee i guess you are right i need some kind of a letter with a good explanation from my fiancee and her cousin .

    hi everyone i have interview coming up this week and i stopped working back in October this year . i already made up my mind with regards to my work cause early this year i was going to start up my own business and when my petition was approved i decided not to proceed further more cause i will need money for my process and if i got approve i have no one to take care of my business so i decided to concentrate on my k-1 process .What i want to ask is do you think me being unemployed it will affect my chances at the interview .thank your

    Hi VJ Family, my husband went on tuesday to have his physical done, our interview is Jan 11-10. My husband was able to have everything done

    at Holy Trinity Clinic. Chest xray, blood work, vaccinations and physical. he paid about $360.00 total. im feeling uneasy about this because i received the information that one must go to Medlab for the blood work, and Akai house for the vaccinations, and you can have the physical and chest xray done at Holytrinity. what worries me is that my husband only had 3 or 4 shots, and the travel.state.gov website printout has about 15 vaccinations listed. i think it was great and very convenient that he was able to do everything there. but im concerned if 3-4 shots were enough.

    has anyone else had their physical done in the last month at Holy Trinity. were you able to have all the testing done there. I plan to call HolyTrinity in the morning to confirm. thanks everyone. Van

    IM SO HAPPY U POSTED THIS PEOPLE WERE TELLING MY HUSBAND EXAIME COST OVER 500USD SO NOW I CAN TELL HIM TO GO TO HOLY TRINITY YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY

    my first medicals at holy trinity clinic cost me 380 Ghana cedis and when i went back a month later for my second shots of vaccinations i payed 20 Ghana cedis all in total will be 400 Ghana cedis .

    i had my medicals done at holy trinity last month and is not true that you have to have your blood work ,physical exams done at a particular clinic or lad i had all my blood work ,x ray,vaccinations and physical done at holy trinity clinic .with the vaccination they will give you 4 shots and a month later , if you are still in the country you will return for another 2 shots you will then pay 20 ghana cedis fo those 2 shots.
