Is he your biological child?  Are you listed as the father on his birth certificate?

Also, are you married to your son's mother?  If not, do you have documents showing you have legal custody of your son?

Just to confirm -- you're a US citizen, right?

    I'm the biological mom.

    Yes.im a u.s citizen

All of the airports that I've been through have had free wifi.  I also bought a SkyRoam unit because the internet in the Philippines is not great.  The SkyRoam was cheaper than paying for the international service from AT&T and it has been rock solid for me.

You will have connectivity in the airport but in the Philippines it is very hit and miss.  You can pick up a Globe or Smart SIM but neither provider is really great.

Where u can buy the Skyroam ??

Just relax and try to get as much sleep as possible.  I dont have a big issue going there but the jet lag after getting home is nasty.  Crossing the International Dateline always makes for an interesting trip. I really suggest the anti gas/bloating drugs for the trip.  Comfortable shoes (you will swell up during the trip) and clothes are a plus.  Drink plenty of water because the air on planes can be very dry.  Mainly just relax and go with the flow.  It is going to be a very long day.  Get as much sleep as you can.

Is there wifi available?  Or u have to purchase ?

I agree with TBoneTX.  You had an attitude before you even started.  TBoneTX helped you by moving you to a forum where your questions could be answered and your response is more abuse.  As a moderator, TBoneTX was only helping you.  If you are offended because he asked you to be polite I believe you are the one with the issues.  Just relax, we are here to help.  All of us...

If I'm the moderator,  if I see someone that I think rude or simply I'm concern to that person or  want to correct that person I will message that person personally not posting it so everyone will see it get more people hate that don't understand where I coming from.by the way, I'm not upset at all ..Im just disappointed u know.moderator should know that gesture..but anyway.,I will not comment anything about this..I don't really want this ,i just wanted an answer to my travel concern..that's why I'm here.I don't want any of this stuff..

There should not be any additional fees.  Extra cash is up to you.  If your stopovers are long you may want some food or drink.  I have never spent anything during my stopovers but your flights may make it a very long day!!!  All of my trips had just one stopover.

You will see no additional fees and spending money during the stopovers is completely up to you.

Ok...is there anything I have to remember before and after boarding a flight...?

They generally allow two bags at 50 pounds each.  You can take a carry on and a personal bag.  Be careful with the carry on size.  Some airlines are very strict while others are not.  The carry on must not exceed 15 kg.  What airline are you flying?

No additional charge for correctly sized carry on and a backpack.

Well I have 3 connecting flight...is there any fee in any form? Do I have to carry cash on me?

  7. 11 minutes ago, John & Rose said:

If you book the flights together your checked bags should go all the way through to the Philippines.  Generally no fees for up to two 50# (27kg) bags as has previously been stated.

The 12 ounces of sleep aid may be a problem.  I believe you are limited to 3 fl oz of any liquid in your carry on.  I would bring a bigger bottle in your checked bag and a smaller bottle of zzz in your carry on.  Bottles of water will most likely be confiscated at the security check point.  You can buy it after you get through security but depending on where you are making the connecting flights they may or may not allow any bottled water onto the plane.  I know this is true in Hong Kong.  They search your bag after you turn in your boarding pass at the gate.

I just got back from my 4th trip to the Philippines this year.  Just relax and enjoy the LONG trip!!!  They will constantly feed you on the plane.  I take Imodium Multi to help beat the "plane bloat".  Get some meds for bloating and take them before you leave.

Ok...thanks for a  very helpful information..I have another questions..

I have 2 big luggage,  smaller luggage that I can carry on the plane and 1 backpack..do I get charge for my back pack and a little luggage?

Thread is moved from Off Topic to the Philippines regional forum.

OP, knock it off with your preemptive rudeness toward others.

Here u are!  Anyway,I understand if u find it rude. a person like u with perfect grammar don't have problem dealing with some people here that love to correct my poor grammar than answering my concerns or they just give me smart@$$ and obvious answer and some just wanted to start drama or doing this things your doing rightnow..but I forgive u..hope u are happy with your comment..have a wonderful day.

For most all of your list.. NO ISSUE.   No customs fees either... as it is personal use, no need to declare.

Most airlines allow you two suitcases at 50 lbs. each for international travel.. no fees, doesn't matter how many connecting flight you have as long as you booked them all together.

.. now I will .. just go away.

Thanks for focusing on my concern.

and not trying to hold your tongue to correct my grammar its very nice of u..god bless your heart.. unlike the first person who comment my post!.anyway well the portable potty is for my sick dad..

  13. fortunately im not married to my children's father and I use my last name to them(my son is 7 and my daughter is 5. is it easier if I don't have previous marriage ?

Only you can file for US citizenship and must fill out and sign that N-400 yourself, but can get help, even from this board. The major catch is that you will need $680.00 that must be included in your application. Bringing children here is a very expensive, especially if you need permission from your ex and is not willing to give it. Has to be settled in a court of law with attorneys and all that depending on your home country. USCIS fees are very high as well. Also doctors expenses for that I-969. And again dependent on your country, airline expenses, you may have to fly to your home country to escort them here.

Without having a lot of money, none if this is possible.

  14. note: my grammar is terrible.i barely talk with people.so my English skills level is low

i was qualified to file last oct 2012.so I ask husband today if he already file my documents.he told me that's its not necessary to be a citizen . .when I show him a link about citizen vs greencard holder he just told me its ridiculous..i don't know what to tell him, .some people told me that easier to apply a job when u are citizen. i cant even find a job, so difficult for me to go around.i don't have car to drive. He don't want me to drive too, i might get an accident. and my transportation is bus .and in my area only one bus goes here every hour and only for certain area..ilove him soo much,.im happy being married.it just feels odd that he don't really care my citizenship.other husband here in visa journey so excited for their wife to be a citizen..did i just over think these things? can i file it alone ? i don't have income..

i miss my 2 children too.im a 10 year greencard holder.is it possible to petition my own children without my husband ?

do i need my husbands permission or sort of paper works to petition my children ?what should i do?

  15. darnell we love the idea but we are thinking it might affect to his incometax return to qualified getting my kids.as of now i cant find some job because i taking care of him but sooner he will be healed i find find a job to be his co sponsor hope it will help the petition if im working too.what do u think ?he is in disability now.

  16. Assume a broken leg takes 6 months to heal.

Assume a CR-2 visa takes 10 months from filing I-130 petition to interview day.

Do some math, I think you can see, if HE filed today, for your 2 kids, they'd be here AFTER his leg healed.

darnell we love the idea but we are thinking it might affect to his incometax return to qualified getting my kids.as of now i cant find some job because i taking care of him but sooner he will be healed i find find a job to be his co sponsor hope it will help the petition if im working too.what do u think ?

  17. I don't completely understand your concern as you don't have to disclose broken bones on the petition... However, I suppose if the injury is preventing him from working it might affect his ability to sponsor

    my concerned

1.is he is not working now, he is in disability.do u think it can affect for getting my kids?we plan to file the petition after i have job to be his co sponsor.is it helping ?
