did you call NVC to give your emails??

I heard that they are supposed to only send you 2 RFE'S...so Please Call and ask directly for a supervisor..

FYI on the RFE's - I know it's a PITA and pre-empting is great. We picked up a mistake and were already in the process of correcting it but when the checklist came in (only 2 days later)... it has something else listed as well.

IMO ... wait the extra day or two for the checklist. You never know what the hell it is they want.

mine the operator told me that was a paper and I told her but I dont have that paper and she said well you have problems.,.and when the email arrived it says what to do in case I dont posses any longer the paper that they were asking...really easy

Just a misunderstanding then. I thought you were telling her she had to wait for the RFE barcode sheet, but others have sent the DS230 barcode instead and have been ok.

I know ! I've been there!!! My email came next day so it was not a long wait and my case was complete 6 days later after the avr change others have waited longer because the hurry with sending the rfe without the email others not...

Yes, the copy is ok for the I-130 but they need originals at NVC. They will give them back at the interview. I know what you mean though. The original Arabic and the certified English translations we only have one copy of each and had to send them in to NVC. That's why I did the signature confirmation and I put on the cover letter to please return the documents to my husband at the interview.

She can use the barcode sheet from the IV bill. She doesn't have to wait for the RFE email.

They want the original of that contract and i only sent a cpy with the translation because we only have the husbands copy and the wifes!

NVC received our RFE checklist April 15...I know everyone says 8-11 business days, but I see some cases were closed after 5 business days??? Just wanted to hear from a few people how long it took for their RFEs to be processed?? I'm dyin' here!

Interview dates for June will be scheduled during 26-30 April for some consulates.

The rest will be scheduled during 10-14 May.

To qualify for the next round of scheduling for June, you'd have to have a CC by May 7, 2010.

Which means your last package must be at NVC by April 26th, tentatively, barring any RFEs.

I dont think so as your package will go first scanned to the embassy and then after their assign the interview date is when the NVC mail the packages... thats'what I heard.. but YEAHHHH I will punish you.. you guys just love NVC right??

for those with medical exam a week before drink everyday the extract of a orange ( not the sweet one, the sour one) with coffee..here in Dominican Rep. the doctor for the visa use anything that he found against you so a lot of people have been telling me this..that drinking this helps your blood defenses I am not sure the correct name but just in case for those believers

now, I have to take a look at everything. Now my phone bill is up there in the hundreds per month because we talk so much on my landline and my cell. She is not the best with computers so she never did the skype thing. Would have saved a ton of $$$. So I have months of phone bills, pictures of us together, postcards, and we know everything about each other. can't think of anything else in terms of evidence, but now I aim to be fully prepared. I am flying all the way to Aruba, then from Aruba to Caracas to be there with her for the interview. I only want to do it once.

What I want to know is if the letter do not ask for any evidence, do you still take everything but the kitchen sink? and for those tough consulates like the DR, does the appointment letter state you should bring evidence such as photos, bills, etc?

the letter is the same I believe for others country they said they have everything and when you get there they ask for everything.. per example the police certificate is valid for 30 days I sent one to NVC but at the time of the Interview this will be expired but in the list that came with the interview package it says that they have your police certificate and when you get there they ask for a new one..so if you dont have this with you they can give you an open cita or put you in AP...I prefer to carry with everything and not to come back to that consulate
