I was reading and what that means is she overstayed a work visa in another country. When the work visa ran out she didn't leave. Ask her if she ever worked outside the Philippines on a work visa. I could be wrong.

Here is the problem my fiancee went to get her son's passport today. When she went in line and showed her birth certificate and showed her sons birth certificate there was a problem. They noticed that on her son's birth certificate they had misspelled her first name. Pasha on son's but is suppose to be El-Fasha. Now her interview is next month and it will take two to three months to have it fixed. But at the DFA they just made her get a Affidavit of Support stating her name and notarized, she got two of them will the embassy take the Affidavit of Support too. Or should I just tell them that her son will follow her to the US after he gets the birth certificate fixed. But on all the form i put that her son will travel with her. I am in the Philippines now.

She thinks that because she doesn't have a very good work experience that they will denie her. Because she has only worked as a saleslady.
Will they even care about that at the embassy.

I now all about the marriage and the divorce thing in the Philippines. What is happening now is her NBI clearance was hit. she cant understand why because she had her NBI clearance done last year and got it same day but when she went down there this time she put single down and she was hit. she put married down last year.

The question is my fiancee was hit when she went to get her NBI clearance. They told her to come back in a week. She doesn't know why she was hit. But if she put single down or married would that affect it.
Because yes she was married and she got the divorce threw the US. I know that in the Philippines that there is no divorce. I have that all covered. But like i said before should she have put married not single on the NBI clearance since she is still married here in the philippines. Would that cause a hit.

How long was the overstay. And yes i think it is a criminal offense if you overstay and keep working without proper papers.
