Does the F2B take longer than F2A processing time? . She was born in December 1999 , and the petition was filed on December 2018 , so she has about 3 years for the whole process , if the process really DOES take more than 3 years, and her case moves to F2B category, does it change anything beside the visa category ?

Ok gotcha, so if the child ages out, does it mean he needs to reapply under a different category ( son or daughter age over 21) and start all over again?
-
The case hasn't been approved yet. So that means it still under USCIS ? , so how are YOU able to find out it will take abt 1 and half to 2 years?. And what if the child is age out? I heard a little bit about CSPA?!?

Hi!
Back on December 2018 ,My LPR uncle filed I130 to perition his unmarried and 19 year old daughter to the US. I'm helping him trying to find out how much time does he have to wait longer. I'm little confused by looking at the bulletin boards. So my questions are
1. What's the different between FINAL ACTION DATE and DATE FOR FILING?
2. I know her category is F2A , what does status " Current " (C) mean in the FINAL ACTION DATE chart?
3. The month of September 2019 in the bulletin board, In the DATE FOR FILING chart and F2A column says 08MAR19 . Does that mean they're working on the petition that have filed back in 08Mar19?
thanks

Thanks everyone for taking time and effort answering my questions.

Also, I live in WA state ,do you guys know if there's a different mailing address if I file I485 and I765 at the same time? Or I just mail it to regular address that has mentioned in the instruction for I485 ( for WA state resident). Thanks

Ok thanks . I was reading the I765 instruction pages , but it didn't mention anything about being free when file with I485.

yes you have nothing to lose.. if you apply for AOS AP AND EAD at the same time you save money. you only pay for the AOS and biometrics fee (total 1225)
Good luck!
Are you sure ? I read the fee waiver applications on USCIS website , K1 AOS is not one of them. Would you mind show me where to find that info?

Thank you everyone so much for the response , I will
submit both at the same time.

Hi,
She came here on a k1 visa?
You have to get married first to apply for aos and ead.
You can look up the processing times based on your state for aos on the uscis website. Google processing times.
Ead is taking average 4 to 5 months right now.
Apply for advance parole aswell!
Do not wait for the green card
Yes we got that already. I guess I will apply both at the same time . Thank you so much

Hi everyone ! I'm ready to apply for AOS for my fiancé who recently arrived in the US . She's planing on working soon, im wondering if I should wait for her green card or apply for EAD for her. Does anyone know the processing time for AOS and EAD? Thank you

Sorry it was a misunderstanding in the question. I understood the difference. Thank you all for the answers!

aleful! So what's the different between timeline on USCIS site (like the pictures I shared) and the bulletin board on travel.state.gov? I've been wrong the whole time by looking at the USCIS timeline.

Thank you both of you JFH and MiraW for answering my questions. if they're gonna cut this category in the near future , do you think they're going to dismiss all the applications that have been applied prior to the cutting date though ?. Even if my mom wait until she obtain her citizenship after she's qualified ( next 3 years), it's still gonna take 7-8 years from that time to do that since they're processing the case of March 2011 right now. In this case , which one would you recommend?.

Hello everyone ! So my mom is a green card holder , she's unemployed nor have any income, she wants to petition my sister who is 22 years old to the US. I understand that if a petitioner doesn't have enough income he/she can have a cosponsor to help using I-864A, but in this particular case she never work and doesn't have any income at all. Can she still petition my sister to the US ? , if yes , does she need anything else beside I-864 and I-864A for proof support?. Also, does anyone have any idea what's the timeline for this type of case? , I checked on USCIS timeline , they are processing the case from May 2015, is it true that it might take almost 3 years? ( May 2015-January 2018). Thank you !

I applied i485 and i130 for my dad to adjust his status from tourist to a permanent resident in July , I just received a letter asking for more docs to substantiate his birth certificate that was registered in 2004 (we don't have our original birth certificate in Cambodia because we were in war for a long time), the letter asked for but not limited to early medical record or school records and/ or 2 or more affidavit . He doesn't have school or medical records, if we can find people for affidavit it will be Cambodian people, I'm not sure if it's ok to do that. Does any of you know any other substantiate docs that I can get for him? Or anyone ever experience this? Thank you

Thank you for responding, I have checked my case status for I-485, they said they received my application on July 12th and mailed me a notice. I Haven't received anything for I-485 yet

I submitted I-130 and I-485 for my father on July 8th and received e-notification on July 13th (text and email for both), received receipt of I-130 in mail on July 15th , but I haven't received receipt of I-485 yet, is this normal?

Hi everyone! So my father came to US in March 2016 as a tourist B2. On April 2nd I file AOS I130 and i485 for him, the package got delivered 2 days later , I never heard anything back from them , I kept calling them they said I don't see anything . I wrote a letter and emailed the lockbox support center, still no response. I assumed they have lost it, so I sent the 2nd package on June 12th express mail priority got delivered and signed on June 15th, I still kept calling them sometime to check about my 1st package , they don't have anything on file. On July 8th I went to the local uscis office and ask them, the lady that was helping me said on April 12th they rejected my case because it was filed improperly and sent my package back , and on June 17th they rejected again and did the same thing, but I never got anything back.( What pissed me off was the people that answer my phone when I called and ask told me that they don't see anything or have anything file. )So the lady at the office advised to change my father's address to the US address instead of his homeland's.so I did that and sent my 3rd package on that day July 8th and got delivered the next day express mail again. Now I'm just waiting. I'm so anxious , worrying that my father getting too close to his visa expiration date which is on September 2nd. Not to mention about the time and money that I have spent. Had to do i693 twice the second time costed me $50 each time I have them redo. Thank you guys for reading this

I know I'm just saying that it shouldn't affect nor make it hard for visa applicant in my country. Ok thanks for the trick , I'll do that
-
You might take it different way from what I understand, it's not like he's staying after his visa expired or anything , its a legal way to do it, and that's why I think they made that an option (I hope this doesn't sound rude). But yeah I called them but they kept transferring me to other department, I was waiting to talk to someone for like an hour and a half , I hung up, I'll try to call them again. I'm just curious if anyone have been through this . No unfortunately I forgot to file G-1145 along with it. Thanks for you response
It was checks not cash

He's here on a tourist visa , and I filed to adjust his status to permanent resident ,it's called concurrent file, which mean I had to submit both I-130 and I-485 at the same time . I mailed those to them with the supporting documents about 5 weeks ago but I still haven't heard anything back yet, I was wondering if they received my mail or it's in process. Thank you for your response

Hi! My father came here to US on a tourist visa. We decided to have him stay here with us , so I applied concurrent file which include I-130 and I-485 with a bunch of other supporting documents about 5 weeks ago, still haven't heard anything back from them. Does anyone know how long am I supposed to wait for the receipt of response? , his visa is expiring in September , I want to make sure he has enough time . Thank you
