    What did you miss ?

I thought my biggest fear was spiders NOP its checklist people ... freaking checklist !!! Scan date January 18th ( six weeks today ) . If I get a checklist after this many weeks of waiting, I don't know what I will do.

I did a mistake on the affidavit of support I-864A. I put my husbands name on the sponsor instead of mine. A very small mistake but have to wait 8 more weeks or so for them to review the corrected form. So depressing! ???

Oh, no. What mistake did you make?

Did you get RFE? Even if you did, the clock won't reset to 0. The processing will start where it left off.

I put my husbands name on the sponsor instead of my name. I feel so dumb why I didn't notice it when I was reviewing it. I reviewed it hundred times before I sent it to Nvc. And yes, I received a checklist/rfe through email.

  3. Hi Everyone, Im planning to go to Philippines by end of March next year and planning to be back here in Cali April 20+ something but then my 90 days before my green card expires starts April 14, 2012. Is there a possibility that i will be in trouble in immigration in my port of entry? or I will be okay? My greencard wont expire till July 13 2012. Hope to ehar from you guys.. Thanks! ;)

  4. I got married recently and apply for green card. However, it was rejected because of the incorrect fees.

So, I applied again. Its been a week since they recived my documents and I havent heard anything from USCIS (money is still in the bank, they havn't cashed it out yet) My visa (F-1) was already expired; therefore I can be here in the US legally 60days after the vise expired. I have only 2weeks to stay here legally. If I dont hear anything from USCIS should I go back to my country?

I contacted USCIS many times, also the local immigration office. They all say something different each time I talk to them…. I dont know what the right thing to do :(

Dont go back to your country, as long as you already submit your applications to USCIS no need to worry, Like my K1-visa will expire tommorow and my 90 days already expired last january, We just sent our AOS package last saturday and I dont hear from USCIS yet. I think no reason to be worried.

  5. No, you don't have to include the I-131 in the AOS application, but you may as well, because it is included in the fee for the AOS.

A lot of VJ members didn't think they would need AP, and then an unforeseen emergency came up, and they wished they had applied.

The choice is yours, but there's really no reason not to apply for it.

    Good luck.

Thank you for the info. :)

  6. Hi vjers,

Im just worried about my marriage license signature, When i signed our marriage cert. i used my old signature, we found out after we recieved the marriage license theres an error in my middle name so we go back to the clerks office to make it chage.

They attach our marriage cert with an error to a cert. with the corretion so 2 pages for our marriage cert. they let us sign to the correction paper i used my married signature since im already married when i signed it, is it a big deal? the first page is my old signature while the second page or the correction i used the married signature.
