The main question is, can you prove your tips on paper? Especially if those are future tips? If the answer is no, get a joint sponsor.

Maybe because its weekend? I will call first thing in the morning this Monday to bug them again.
Yes, of course they do not send out invoices on the weekend. I'd wait 'til Monday night and if it's still not available, call them Tuesday morning. They are nearly impossible to reach Monday mornings.
The proof of them doing nothing on the weekend is that my bank already shows the IV payment cleared and NVC still doesn't show it as paid.

Whenever I would go to the Online Forms portal.. it shows the option for me to Pay the IV package... but when I click it, and goes to Payment portal, there's nothing in there that shows that I could select the IV fees and pay it...
Why?
I posted the same question earlier. In the morning I could not select it, in the afternoon I got the invoice and it worked. Wait for the invoice.

Actually yes you DO. my husband had to present his interview appointment letter at the time if his interview. It is a requirement.
As I said, it may vary by location. The instructions for my consulate do not specify that.
And I've heard of people in other countries doing medical well in advance.

They have to submit DS260 online. Paper forms are for DV lottery and K visas.

On part I-864A Part 2 Number 13. "Sponsors Promise", its has a line that says (Indicate Number) should I just put 1 this petition is only for my mom and retype this on Part 3 Number 15 on that place where it says number from line 13
Yes, if you're only sponsoring one immigrant, put "one".

Who do I need to put on item Person 1 6.a. is that me or my spouse?
Just to clarify, since we file jointly, I just put my INDIVIDUAL income that is on my own W2 on Part 6 number 5. (My Current Individual Income) ?
Where do I put my spouse's income?
Individual income is YOUR individual income. If you don't work, it's 0. If you do, it's whatever is on your individual W2.
Your spouses income goes into Person 1 6c. Person 1 6a is your spouse.
There are lines there for income on the tax returns, that's where you put joint.

Should I wait until the NVC gets the supporting documents to complete the DS-260 online? Will they reject the application if the papers are not there yet but on their way?
I think they will wait for the papers. Certainly no reason for rejection.
In fact, it clearly says that you submit the form first and the documents after:

They ask for originals or certified copies. I guess emailing the documents would only work if the beneficiary produces the originals at the interview. I have all the originals with me, so my mom will only bring the copies.

If most of it is tips, I'd get a joint sponsor. Tips are difficult to prove and they are not stable (theoretically at least). But you can get an employment letter. Although I doubt it they would put tips on it.
I am in a somewhat similar situation, only it's benefits, not tips. The employment letter states the salary plus "benefits" without specifying the amount (that can change). I came out just under 125% and got a joint sponsor.

No you don't.
When you go to a clinic, please bring the following: 2 color pictures 5X5 cm in size, your travel passport, and an extract from of medical history with the list of vaccinations you have received.
It says "give the physician the date of your interview appointment", but the electronic appointment form (at least for Moscow) does not require you to provide the date.
I suppose it may be different for other locations.

About 1-2 months to case complete looks like and another 1-2 months to the interview. You can look at the timelines in the IR-5 thread. They are probably about the same.
You can do the medical before you get the notice, yes, although the consulate does not recommend it. The results are valid for a year, so you're probably fine.

Got invoiced for IV and paid it. Will update status when shows as paid.

This will not affect your sister's petition as long as your mother does not abandon residency. She can get a reentry permit and leave for up to 2 years. It is possible to return after that and apply for another reentry permit, but the second one can be more difficult to obtain. As far as I remember, there's a limit of 3 reentry permits, for 2-2-1 years respectively.
I'd go this route. The process for you mother will take about a year, then 2 years out with the permit, and she may be ready to come stay here permanently.

Hi, ONCE THAT YOUR LOCAL USCIS OFFICE RECEIVE YOUR PAPERS WHAT IS NEXT? Finally our case is moving
It's not a local office, it's a service center. They say "local" , but then you get another message with the name of the service center.
Took about 3 weeks for my case to be approved.
So IV fee looks open and says "pay", but when click "pay" and go there, on the invoice page there's no "select" window and no info on the IV fee. Weird. Maybe it'll appear later today...

OK, so I called USCIS and they told me that it IS NOT necessary to pay the fee in our case. She can enter the country with her visa. The fee is to cover the cost of a green card. On her visa, it clearly states that her Honduran Passport, with the US visa and the I-551 stamp that she will get at the POE function as a green card for the first 360 days that she is in the US.
Once she is here, with her Honduran passport (which will have the stamp in it saying she was admitted as a legal permenant resident) and other supporting documents we can apply for her US passport. Once that arrives (in 6-8 weeks) she will have proof of citizenship. Therefore she doesn't really NEED a green card as long as we get her passport in the first year she is in the country (and before the I-551 stamp in per passport expires).
This process has been SO expensive, if we can avoid the $165 fee, and bypass getting a green card (which we don't really need in her case) then that's what we'll do.

She has to have her green card to apply for the passport. No way around it.
So yes, you have to pay the fee.

Question.
My mother and father's Original marriage certificate got destroyed in their house fire. In Russia, only one original document exists and you cannot obtain certified copies. My mother requested a replacement, but the officials told her that because she and my father had since divorced, they cannot give her a replacement Marriage Certificate. Instead they gave her a letter that contains all the information from the Marriage Certificate, only it looks different. They also, after considerable resistance, provided her with a letter of explanation why a replacement could not be issued.
So I'm thinking, shall I attach the explanation letter to the packet? Does NVC care what a Marriage Certificate looks like as long as it contains full information and is certified? I know they know what a standard MC looks like, so they will notice the difference of course.

I put my current income as 0 and household income as the amount on the tax paper which we filed jointly.
Yeah I did that too. Phew, what a pain in the neck:)
Now I have to mail my MIL's I-864 to her to sign and also wait for my husband to return from the current trip to sign I-864a. Hopefully I'll be ready to mail the AoS packet by the end of next week... It's not showing as paid yet anyway.
Meanwhile I'll translate the IV documents.

So the person who did the employment letter did not date it. I wish I could smack him right now. I'll have to call on Monday to request a new one.
Who doesn't date a letter?!!!!!!
Sheesh. Well ask them to put your pay on it too while they're at it.

You can pay as soon as you receive the invoice and the payment option is open. You don't have to wait.
If you don't have the invoice yet, get the AoS paperwork ready while waiting.
Updating my status. Hopefully I'll be able to mail the AoS packet tomorrow, and IV packet in a couple of days. Gonna submit DS260 today.
