OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.... Went to go check my status and saw that the date changed... I was happy bc I thought it was just a touch.. But when I took the time to read further I realized it is APPROVED!!!!!!

On October 6, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Oh im sooo happy and I am praying or everyone to get their approvals soon!! God is great!! Allahu Akbar!! Too bad Im not going to be talking to my fiance until 2pm tomorrow but man is he going to be excited!!! Thank you everyone for support and kind words!

Someone please stop me from jumping out of the window. Thanks Resha and Adnan for your comment which made me go check the USCIS and what i found there on october 6 our petition for 129f has been approved. Thank you all who really have been a great help and a source of motivation when i was losing hope. I pray all of my fellow july filers to get their approvals soon.

Does anyone know where to contact CSC as we have been trying to call national service centre number from couple of days with no luck. Everytime computer answers the call. Guess itz high time to contact them.

All the hoping and praying FINALLY worked!!! Today after Zahid had retired for the night we got a touch! It had been 88 days and we were hanging on to hope by a thread. I seriously had to do a double take when I saw it. Still no email yet, but we shall wait and see what tomorrow brings. Ahhhhh so happy right now I can't even imagine how I am going to feel once we actually get our NOA2.

3:30 A.M i was in dead sleep my phone started ringing and it was my Fiancee Margarita saying "honey we got a touch" repeating the same some 10 times She really was very exited and so am i and was not able to catch any sleep after that for an hour or so. Gosh this was just a touch what will happen when we recieve our NOA2. Maybe Bungee Jumping from my window which is on the third floor of our house. Some hope now.

I read somewhere that if you input the wrong case number several times you can access a live person ...but honestly - not sure where that will get you ...i also read that all they do is read a script...and you can't get senators/congressmen involved until after 5 months.

Hello Juliers! I ran across this site yesterday when my fiance and I were searching for some information. I found this topic and read from the beginning as to not repeat something already posted. Even though you don't know me, I feel I know you all pretty well. It is very comforting to know there are others in this same or substantially similar situation. Like others have said, my friends/family/co-workers are tired of my whining...not that I do that publicly too often

My quick story...I met Adam in 2000 through work. My company had a Canadian client and he was my day-to-day contact. We developed a friendship through emails, telephone calls and postal packages. In 2002 he had planned a trip to San Francisco with a friend of his. As any secretly smitten girl would do, I invited myself We had a fabulous weekend, but very shortly after going home we lost touch...we were both so young (I was barely 22 and he was almost 24). Anyhow, we reconnected late 2008 and picked up where we left off ever so quickly. We still had intense feellings for each other after all that time...even with all our life changes. The thought of actually ending up together seemed possible. It was so exciting to be so in love! It still is! I visited Toronto for the first time over my birthday in April. He visited me in Salt Lake for the first time over the 4th of July. We filed our I-129f July 24th with our NOA1 on July 28th. As per USCIS, we are in Initial Review...like the rest of you...but hopefully not too much longer

I am thankful everyday that I have him in my life and I'm soooo excited for our future! On another note, I'm becoming increasingly impatient and slightly pessemistic. Trying to live our lives, plan for change, monetary need, a wedding...

Hopefully you'll all allow me to join your waiting room. I could use some company.

Welcome!!! I'm also from SLC and sent in our app a week before you. The one good thing we have on our side.. weddings can be thrown together quickly here It's not unheard of for two people from SLC to meet and be married within 6 months, and usually it's only 2 months from the ring on the finger to walking down the aisle. :D :D

Utah is an odd place, but it is home!!! Are you planning to settle in Salt Lake? I am in Davis County, but work up by the U.

Julie - I saw there was a fellow Utard here (Adam thinks he's hilarious when he refers to me that way...he'll be one soon too though...whose laughing now!). Very true about weddings in this state! However, we plan on getting married in San Francisco. Since we met in person there for the first time, and he doesn't have any family here, it only feels right. We plan on starting out here, but who knows where we'll end up. I live in SL County (Sandy) and work relatively close to home. How about you two? Are you planning on staying here?

Kristen i completely agree with your Fiance that there is nothing we can do,it will happen at its time and i also agree with your thoughts it is hard to chew tough words.

Before filing the application we were thinking that we will be together by thanksgiving and spend some time with her parents during her holidays which i think is not possible keeping in view the progress of csc, so m hoping for christmas and new year now.

This weekend skyping with my fiancee, listening to pink floyd at the same time and watched couple of movies, attended friends wedding and praying for the process to be faster.

I am hoping someone from our group recieves the much awaited NOA2 in the last week of september.

Guys i ve read so many posts where people write that vsc and csc always try to adjudicate the cases faster which are easier for them to process. Now my question is what exactly people mean by easier cases,if it is documents (proof of relation) which makes the case easier then pls give me ur thoughts on the following documents which me and my fiancee submitted along with the 129F form

1.Her passport stamps (oct 2008 & feb 2009)

2.Airline tickets and boarding pases (oct 2008 & feb 2009)

3.Hotel Reciepts (oct 2008 & feb 2009)

4.Shopping Reciepts & ATM Reciepts (oct 2008 & feb 2009)

5.Call log of three months prior to filing the 129F (oct 2008 & feb 2009)

I sent I-129F by end of July-09, my check was cashed on 08/10/09, but I did NOT received the receipt from USCIS, I just called them and they confirmed my address and they told me that my case is pending,

do I need to ask them to send me the receipt again?

Ok so I know we started with the positive approach ...but I was just doing some reading in the july filers for vsc forum and apparently 3 july filers had some kind of update ...I think they got their noa2 - well I know two of them did and I'm not sure if the 3rd one got an noa2 or an rfe.

I'm really wondering what's going on. This is SLOW! We are getting in a week what VSC gets in a day. I hope it's only temporary. Maybe they will transfer our cases to another service center. Then again, Igor's list is just a small percentage of what is waiting at CSC, so it might just be chance that they are not approving our files but still working fine.

It's too bad we don't have people that work there posting on the site right now!!!

We have a 10 hour difference ... So now it is 1.19pm his time ... It is past 3am my time and I'm wide awake... Actually just woke up....the hour difference is a major pain bc I feel like I base my day thinking about what he is doing and what time it is and every time I look at my watch I calculate his time too and I will not miss that either.

I told my fiance the same thing ....it would not be so hard if we actually knew the exact day this would all end. The guesstimating and the unknown stress me out.

He is convinced we have a minimum of another 2 months and I don't know if I can handle another 2 months...haven't seen him since june 25th 2009 ... Miss him so much.

And what am I doing on VJ at this hour??? I don't know ....this forum calms me down ...it was really a hard week and I'm so emotionally/mentally tired.

Anyway - hopefully we are all getting close to some good news. Everything will be ok.

Oh and another thing... I am friggen SICK of being awake when America is asleep! The time zone thing is driving me mad, I go to bed when he wakes up and vica versa. I want to be awake when the office hours is happening in the US. It's crazy to hear people tell me good morning or afternoon when I'm about to wind down and go to bed for the day. GAHH - that's one thing I won't miss about this whole seperation thing. Wade and I got a 9 hour difference, how about everyone else?

That's so sweet of you, you made me smile so thank you! Can't say I've been doing a whole lot of it since Wade left, but I've decided to try and cheer up some. We have so much to look forward to, the awful visa process is just a temporary set back, right?!

I always calculate his hours too! It drives me nuts sometimes but I can't help it. Wade and I both have a somewhat unhealthy sleep pattern due to the fact we're trying to have a lot of contact even with the whacky time difference. You two got an hour more to struggle with compared to us.. almost half a day! At least it's weekend so you can try to relax and get a bit more sleep, and let's hope CSC will do a massive amount of approvals next week! We're so close, so just hang in there. I know another two months seem like an eternity, but after this you never have to be apart again! At least we have each other, I swear VJ is part the reason I still got my sanity.

We have 12:30 hr difference. Normally our talking hours everyday are 8:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M, 5:00 P.M to 6:30 P.M and 10:00 P.M to 10:30 P.M

Our case is also in intial review.

Good to know USCIS is atleast working on juliers now. I tried to check the website uscis.gov and itz saying

AS we are just 12 days away from the much awaited month of october i am sure every julier must be exited as i am but on the other side i am bit tense after reading a post couple of days back on VJ about a lady srewing medical test by admitting to the doctors that she used Marjuana once some four years back and if i remember correctly she was told by the doctors to visit a Psycheterist. Well the problem with me is i ve been smoking Pot regularly from couple of months and i am not sure is Dope test included in the medical tests for visa application. Please share your knowledge with me.
