Mene ceka agonija sredjivanja hrvatskih papira. Konzulat u NY je grozan. Chicago i Washington su ok, ali je meni NY najblizi.

Meni su rekli da trebas doci osobno u konzulat i izvaditi putni list. S tim mozes uci jednokratno u Hrvatsku i tamo srediti papire. 

Ja ovih dana saljem sve za US putovnicu jer sam US drzavljanin.

Congratulations to all of you who got their interview or oath letters!

I have to say that my inteview was smooth and easy. The IO didn't ask for my passport, only to check my driver's licence and a green card. I knew those 100 questions by my heart, and I'm sure all of you'll be just fine.

Swearing was the crown of everything I did for the past 7 years. It feels so good to have all of this behind me. Proud to be an American Citizen! 🎉🇺🇸

Yes! If any of the papers missing, you have to bring it. 

The interview itself was short. I was asked 5 questions from American history, to read a short sentence and write a sentence that was given to me.

Since all answers were correct, I wasn't asked anything else. They checked all papers in my file since we filled papers back in 2009. 

Only docs I had to bring were driver's licence, green card and a passport.

So true about USCIS. I was surprised to get Springfield, because I did everything in Hartford, CT. USCIS have mobile office in Springfield, whatever that means. 

It suits me good.

Can I ask you one quick question? You received your letter just one day after the text. Do you know when your online status changed to "My Interview was Scheduled"? Like in my case, it still says "On 11/28, we started the interview scheduling process blah blah blah..." So I just wanted to know the date that your interview was scheduled.

I have no idea because I didn't check online immediately. All of this happened in just a couple of days. When did you send your papers? Maybe it's just a matter of time before you get your interview notice.

I got a text yesterday, and a letter today. Notice day was January 24. The office where I'll have an interview is 10min from my house. ?

Typically, given everything else gone pear-shaped during this long journey, I have bizarre tracking. Packet was meant to be delivered Friday. I've got no idea why it reads the way it does...pickup?!?

I've no idea why it left Dallas at the crack of dawn on the 7th, only to arrive back there 29 hours later. And, for bonus points, Monday is a holiday.
