once you receive your hard copy of NOA2 you can call the NVC (but it's not toll free) the number is 603-334-0700. They'll tell you the status. Today they told me our case is at the NVC and it is being "held for further processing" They wouldn't tell me anything else... I hope that just means they're so spellbound reading our beautiful letters, they haven't found the presence of mind to forward it to Napoli. I can dream, can't I? anyway, they'll also give you the NVC case number, but I can't tell you what that's good for. Buona fortuna a tutti! Ciao

I think the short answer is ... come on a visa waiver and just don't mention the fiance petition, just tell them you're here as tourist, or visiting a friend. you might open a can of worms by mentioning the fiance petition.

in fact, now when I click on my timeline, it appears to be someone else's timeline ... I would love to participate in these forums, but really I don't have so many hours to spend knowing how to use this site. It should be simpler.

We got our NOA2 this past Tuesday (Sept 1) ... 107 days from NOA1. What a wonderful feeling! Good luck to all of you who still haven't received yours. ... can someone tell me how do you update your timeline?

I found a lot of good information on this website, but it's too disorganized. I find something useful, then can't find it again when I want to. I subscribe to topics, then I can't find them again. I post new topics, then I can't find any responses to them. REally, I think they tried to make this website with too many features, and it just made it confusing.

this website has a lot of good information, but I find it EXTREMELY difficult to navigate. for example, can someone tell me how you add an event to your timeline? also, sometimes i subscribe to a forum topic, and then I still can't find it again when I want to. Unless you have hours and hours to devote to trying to find your way around this site, it's really very difficult to understand. also, when I initially registered, i did it wrong, now I have 2 accounts and can't figure out how to delete one. I wouldn't want to confuse people for example, who might be trying to determine how many visa applicants there are from Italy.

I didn't include a cover letter with our I-129F... Is this a huge problem? I think everything else was in good order.
