The US Embassy is flooded right now, I would not count on it being open for a few days at least... The water is chest deep at the gates... Who knows about the inside of the buildings. Better plan on rescheduling, I have a feeling it will be closed for the rest of the week.

yes what happened, i got my petition approved and it was filed april 26,still waiting for the packet from the embassy though

we got ours too this week but dated 19th and noa1 was june16th....we used TSC

TSC doesnt process I-129F petitions.... You were probably transferred to CSC or VSC.

hello to everyone... yesterday i was looking for some information about K1 visa and i end up reading visa journey cos there are so many informative write ups here... and decided to sign up.. we're April filer too and we received our NOA1 may 15 (after a month actually) and we're still waiting for the NOA2 (it's been 5 months now ).. hopefully we'll be able to receive it end of the month or first week of october.. i'm just wondering, does anyone know if i should secure a police clearance in Australia where i worked for 2 years even if i already secured NBI clearance here in Phil...will the US embassy (Manila) still needs it for my future interview? Thanks in advance!

They will want a police clearance from any country where the applicant stayed for 6 months or more. So yes, order one from Australia.

The cool part about the vegas wedding is the chapel will broadcast it over the internet so her family /friends in the Philippines can see it and feel like they are there....

Congrats! She also received hers today also. Already took the CFO seminar, all she needs to do is claim her sticker and she is good to go to come here in November. Happy Days.

Visa has been delivered... We started this process on April 19th and this phase has drawn to a close today. She just needs to get her CFO sticker (local philippines requirement) and she is good to come here in November. Thanks guys!

Just an update. She got her K-1 Approval at the US Embassy in Manila... This journey started on April 19th and soon she will be in her new home.. Thanks for the support guys! Good Luck to all of you and never lose hope.

We started this K-1 Journey on April 19th and just found out a few hours ago that my fiance got approved for her Visa at the US Embassy in Manila. Just be patient and you will also achieve your goals with this crazy process. She will be here in November after tying up some loose ends.. Thanks again to everyone for the support. Thanks for the support.... She has the medical in Manila next week and scheduled an appt online for September 1st. They even still had appointments for this week and the rest of August. It must be a slow time at the MNL embassy. Hoping that nothing comes up and she can come here in November and we can get married in January.

Call them again on Wednesday. They should have it shipped off to USEM and issued your MNL number by then.

You were right, got shipped off to Manila today and I got my case number. Now on to paying the visa fee and getting the medical done in Manila. Everything is finally coming together. Hopefully all will be done by the time I come in late November to get her.

It looks like the NVC finally received my packet today (August 8th) after having a NOA2 issued on July 12th. It should be off to Manila this week I would imagine... They did not have a MNL case number as of yet. I will try again later this week to get that number.

I was in the Romanian embassy this week and can confirm the new price structure for K-1 visa.

The fees were posted in the lobby and the K-1 visa application is now $335.

Considering the fee change is still in the comment stage until February 12th, I don't find this credible.

NOA1 on 10/7/09 and I received notice today that my NOA2 was approved on 01/12/2010. It took 97 days to process. Moving on..

I saw on evaair.com tickets round trip from Seattle to Manila for as low as $546 plus taxes..
